St. Louis embarrassed Detroit 6-0 last night. Rookie Tarasenko scores twice in his NHL debut. This team has a lot of young talent and will be fun to watch this season. Also, is there a better goalkeeping tandem in the league than Halak-Elliott?

Ducks continue with another win over the Flames on the road, 5-4. Long may it continue.

Oh god, the Ducks are the fecking worst bunch of unlikable goons there are.
It comes with the territory. Most LA area fans are extremely unlikable.

Boston fans are irritating but they at least know about their sports. Orange County "fans" are just like their women, FAKE.

Was at the Jets vs Penguins game Friday night

What a cracker... best part (other than the win) was the crowd chanting "Mario's Pool Boy" at Sidney Crosby

We may be in the middle of a horrible skid once more, but wow the Oilers have got some player in Justin Schultz. Obviously everyone was after him and he'd been excellent in the AHL. However to come straight into the league and perform as he has done. The Yak, is doing well, maybe interesting tonight putting him on a line with RNH and Eberle.

I could listen tonight, but after last night I want to give them a chance, we (the Oilers) always lose when I listen. Mind you they've lost when I haven't over the past 3 years.

Interesting to see how the Olympic qualification tourny's ended up. Only Latvia got through from the favourites. Austria and Slovinia get through instead of Denmark and Germany. Unfortunately Team GB lost all 3 games in group E, which isn't a shocker to be honest. Being the lowest ranked team in the group, we had a chance, but it was always going to be slim. I guess the positives were that apart from today's 6-0 loss, we were really comeptative in the previous games. Also we had national digital radio commontaries on all the games and ESPN UK picked up the tv rights. It's more than we usually get. Some coverage always helps the game over here.

Is there anything Oliver Ekman-Larsson can't do? The man crush has gone from latent to raging. Another amazing Coyotes/Ducks game.

Come up short in these two last games against the Coyotes, hoping for a win back at home against them tonight.

Dallas must be a shout for best announcers in the league. My opinion may be coloured by catching some of the Penguins feed for the recent Flyers game, those guys seem capable of ruining any game. The Blues and now the Stars' pair have been music to my ears, since.

In others news, Yandle's going to give me a coronary with his play this season.

Not much love for the NHL here it looks like, not even a thread for this season? Watching Ottawa - Boston right now, should be an okay game.

I'm still pissed off about the lockout. I'll end my boycott when playoffs come around I suppose.
Sure, same here. First the lockout and then my fav player Erik Karlsson goes out injured for the season, yippie. But I still enjoy watching this wonderful league, a lot more entertaining than watching the national league here in Sweden.

I'm enjoying the season but I've only really watched Yotes games so didn't want to be constantly updating the thread with a team no-one cares about. I had no resolve when it came to being annoyed about the lockout, I like the different dynamics of the shortened season, too.

Any chance Selanne stays on another year? He single-handedly makes the Ducks impossible to dislike, like Datsyuk with the Red Wings. Almost.

I reckon selanne to stay another season, he was asked about the Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry contact extensions recently and said,

"if they can play on for another 8 years then so can I. I'm in better condition than both of them"

Love selanne

I think the lack of effort that went into that OP means it should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

Cheers iSparky, I'd take 8 more seasons! Getzlaf has looked annoyingly amazing this season.

Another 8 seasons would be epic. He has been great so far this season though. Fasth as well had been an epic addition to the team and I am intrigued to see more of Bobby Ryan as a centre man. Been a great season for the most part for the ducks so far.
