With about 6 overs left, England smashed 3 wickets down to the point where they needed 1 wicket from 5 balls - 2nd to last ball the Umpire gave LBW, only for the review to show the batsmen just got a nick on the ball. Ended in a draw.

Ronaldo to his credit kept working, but it doesn't look like his World Cup to grab it by the scruff of the neck as we say in England, maybe Russia 2018? but there's still time.
Portugal's biggest flaw is they rely on Ronaldo too much, and long term it will cost them, it's unhealthy, they need to build a team - perhaps when he retires they will adopt the German approach.

Portugal have barely integrated any of their younger players for the past some time now despite being poor in the same period and underachieving consistently.

People really doing a huge disservice to quality players like Moutinho, Nani, Coentrao and Miereles who are all top players capable of playing to a very high level, in in some sort of weird attempt to protect Ronaldo. He sucked every bit as much as his team mates today.
