What's with the Adddidas spelling folks. It's just Adidas. Too many people buying knock off kits with dodgy spelling ;)

£70m is great. £10m a year more than expected. The debt is really starting to look trivial, which is amazing. I just hope that this rumored Woody mentality of needing to buy big names to get big sponsors is true and that we can reinvest as well as our global rivals.

This reminds me of being at school in the early 90s and the debate whether jackets that said NAFF or NAFF NAFF were genuine.

Incredible deal and kudos to Woody and co for getting this done, especially after losing the leverage after Nike pulled out.

I just hope they invest heavily in the squad this summer.

The difference between this summer and last summer is staggering. The good news just keeps on rolling on, long may it continue!

Fantastic business. The sponsorship deals from Chevrolet & Adidas alone are ridiculous numbers!!

So just from a kit, we get £123m a season (Chevrolet: £53m, Adidas: £70m).

Absolutely mental.

They should have a live video link to Joel Glazer in a bath full of dollars, smoking a massive cigar saying "I just want to say Go Manchesters!!!"

Plus 20 million from AON for the naming rights for our training ground.

Well it's £53m + £75m plus if we count the training kit we replaced the £10m a year deal for that for the £15m a year deal for that + Carrington naming rights so if we take that deal as still being £10m for the training gear it's £138m a year in kit deals.

I don't want us to become a team-buying club like Madrid, with an established world-class player bought in for every position. But this should surely mean that those important, necessary targets (Vidal, anyone?) will become much more achievable.

Nike has dropped the ball on this one, with the American market becoming more and more interested in the Premier League. Am I wrong or is City the only team from the top half who'll wear Nike shirt next (15/16) season?
