Lazio in talks to sign Ravel Morrison from West Ham

I think getting out of the country, where he apparently has bad influences, will do him a bit of good. His attitude has to change, though.

So are West Ham looking to sell, does anyone know? I thought West Ham were perhaps his last chance, but I suppose there's always another club stupid enough to give him a chance. Lazio though? Bit mad.

Probably the best thing for him. Hopefully he will be able to focus almost exclusively on his football.

Lazio might be one place where it could all tick for him in truth. They have managed many trouble makers in the past (Di Canio, Mihajlovic etc.)

How many English former PL players would that make in Series A at present? Cole, Richards (Has he played much btw?) and Morrison.

Hope it works out for him, though I won't hold my breath. That attitude of his has got to go. Frustrating to see him waste his talent.

Even though they bought him by accident
"Oh, fat shit, we thought you said he was a....."

I know they're not allowed but that deserves a...

Previously it was all about getting out of Manchester, now its about getting out of England. At this rate a change of continents and hemispheres is on the horizon.

So the one time we see Ravel and Pogba play first team football together again it's in a game against Juventus and Lazio

Ravel in a country where people aren't known for their patience. What could possibly go wrong here?

Apparently they're willing to let him go on a free, there's just issues with the wage thing, he says he is owed 60k from West Ham, they say it was docked through fines and such.

If ever a club and a player were matched, this is it. Send them Balotelli too and watch absolute chaos commence.

Manchester to London is only 2 hours by a very regular train service, to be fair. In Rome, he'll have no choice but to pal up with his teammates and coaching staff.

Having said that, I think it might be a little late for him to be a top player now. I can see him ending up in Portugal or Holland in a couple of years.

Hope it goes well for him! Shame that none of our last Youth Cup winning team wasn't give chance or wasn't good enough for the first team :(

Still the most exciting youngster I've never seen at youth level.

He's not a wasted talent while he's still playing football/clubs want to sign him and he's earning a living from the game and he's still only 21.

Not given up hope yet on him fulfilling his potential, Lazio are a big name club historically.

It seems doubtful that this would ever be finalised.

I've always thought he was hugely overrated. No doubting that technically his dribbling is excellent, and he has his moments but the rest of his game is often very poor and he's a liability because of it. Some people don't even have it in them to learn the finer points of the game. He's basically another Jason Koumas, although even with a terrible attitude Koumas was still the best player in the championship whereas Morrison has been bench fodder for Cardiff.

Either end up pissing off the Ultras so bad that he gets stabbed or will get tangled up with the mafia and his buddies and get killed that way instead.
