This was practically a home game for Barcelona too. In the midst of fanboy country apparently. Ridiculous how the crowd kept booing Sevilla.
Yeah heard lost of whistles for Sevilla apart from for Krohn-Dehli who's one of their own.

Trouble is that is exactly the truth. Teams here would rather just be in the PL/CL than actually win something.
That's my point. The sad part is they don't even seem to realize the ridiculousness of what they're spouting.

You'd get banned? You dont like us Croatians? :(
It's hard to say because if i wouldn't like croatians i wouldn't like half my village where i was born  Or on second thought maybe this was the reason that i married to Ljubljana
But yes banter could go on the unacceptable level but i am sure you know that;)
Ofcourse i like a Croatians, after all we are not a politicians

Krohn-Dehli one of their own?
Actually im not even sure exactly where the game was held lol. I may have misinterpreted him. I was reading his interview on as earlier and he was saying how there were going to be many Barca fans but hoped that some would support Sevilla now that he had joined them. But now im not entirely sure what and who he was talking about.

Looks like I missed a boring game.

Really made a wise choice going to a birthday get together that didn't even serve food.

Honesty if we could play like Sevilla did in attack that would already be a big improvement. We are already heaps behind technically in every department except maybe the midfield against a 5th place La Liga side.

How is a midfield of Carrick, Schneiderlin, Schwiensteiger, Herrera, Fellaini, Mata and Perrera worse technically than Sevilla? That's ludicrous to say that.

Even Rooney, Depay and young are no slouches, and neither is Blind and Smalling can get back to what we saw when he first joined.
Yes there are certain individuals whom you mentioned (though not all of them) who are up to the standards but when you look across the whole team, pound for pound a team like Sevilla has players who on average are better technically than ours. Just look at the way they built up attacks from the back and maneuvered the ball against the best pressing team in the world whereas we have players that struggle to make those kind of passes and control the ball in those ways on a weekly basis against much weaker opposition. For example, you mentioned Rooney...

Thank feck you posted that vine. Now I remember that Rooney is rubbish technically and not an all time great for both united and England.

Rooney has one of the worst first touched of all supposed top class footballers to be fair. He isn't terrible technically but compared to Spanish players he is some distance behind.

Do you reckon he is as good technically as Villa (in his prime), Silva or Iniesta?
Why compare them to him? He's a fecking class talent who can absolutely smash a volley, score from half way line and find a pass from 60 yards. There's hardly any better.

That's not an answer. Is he as good as Villa, Silva or Iniesta technically?

There are a lot of better players, unless you believe he belongs to Messi category of GOAT. He's all right but he isn't really world class, hasn't been for a very long time. And as far as technique goes it's not unfair to point out obvious flaws in his game.

Pique: "Let’s go celebrate guys, let the ones from Madrid go feck themselves and watch us with the trophy.”

Similar thing happened when they won CL. They always have Real Madrid in the back of their heads. Even in the moments of biggest euphoria they go and talk about Real Madrid.

It's actually sad. Small-time can't even enjoy their victories..

Celtic Rangers is similar. Thats the only comparison I can think of.

Unless those are 30 seconds of clips from hours and hours of talking.
