Barcelona seem happy with the win and Sevilla seem very disappointed. Shouldn't they not care about this meaningless fixture?

You have to feel for Sevilla, 2 great chances missed there. Has to be one of the best games I've ever seen

12 seconds added on  They really need to stop the clock in stoppage time when the ball leaves the field of play.

Pwdro is gone. You can see it from the reactions of the other barca players after the goal and final whistle. Hugs and goodbye kisses.

some contrast to the steaming pile of shite that was served up in most Pl games at the weekend

two technically gifted attacking teams - great to watch

That was abysmal defending from us, but the main culprit si the complacency we showed after going 3-1 ( the 4th was a gift). same complacency we showede last year and we just got lucky, like tonight

On another note, that's Pedro for you guys. He runs and gives it all even with a dead shot following a blocked FK at the 116th minute !!

Not many get to leave a team on an absolute high. Hope Pedro gets to Man Utd soon.

Two teams who are fully motivated to win any trophy as well. Not like teams here who turn their noses up at some competitions. A trophy is a trophy and as they say winning becomes a habit.

Still can't believe the two chances Sevilla missed in the dying minutes. Fair play to both teams. What a game!

Michael Owen summed up the British mindset perfectly with this pearl of wisdom on the importance of this game to the players... "The Spanish like winning trophies."

This was practically a home game for Barcelona too. In the midst of fanboy country apparently. Ridiculous how the crowd kept booing Sevilla.

Trouble is that is exactly the truth. Teams here would rather just be in the PL/CL than actually win something.
