I was out drinking with a bunch of Russians and Poles a couple of weeks ago for a birthday, and they were incredibly racist and sexist on the whole. Thing is they don't think they are either, this lot thought we are just too PC and that's putting it nicely.
So I'm not surprised Smertin doesn't think they have a problem.

Russia is such a backwards shithole of a country, its full of racists, just last season in the champs league I was watching a game, I think it was zenit I forget who they were playing but they were making monkey chants at the black players on the opposition team I turned it off. I'd love nothing more than all African countries and black players to boycott that World Cup. Maybe even other countries could not go too. Make a Stand.
We go to russia this year in the champs league and I guarentee if young, martial smalling etc play they will be racially abused by their fans.

I know I shouldn't get annoyed over shit like this... but I can't help it. It's maddening.
That's not controversial, it's insane. Surely nobody actually believes a word of that nonsense.
I'd love to see that too, but personally, I think a boycott would do feck all unless teams like England, Germany and Brazil boycotted the World Cup. It would cause a rumble but I doubt much would change because a few African countries didn't turn up. I think the top teams boycotting the World Cup could cause serious trouble and bring changes. Not to mention it would cost the Russians billions.
Unless everyone, or the vast majority were to boycott the games, I think that every nation should turn up, and then when the racism inevitably starts, they should just walk off the pitch en masse. Even if it was say, Nigeria v Iceland, both teams should just walk off together, because I think until that actually happens, Russia and all their puppets like Smertin will continue to deny there is a problem and actually believe the rest of the world believes them, despite the mountains of evidence against them. Imagine the shit it would cause if a few games had to be abandoned because of teams walking off due to racist behaviour from fans?
Russia and their FA are mental though, just look at what poor Emmanuel Frimpong had to endure at the start of this season. He got feckin banned for 2 games for flipping the bird to some dozy cnuts who were chanting abuse at him and they still deny having a problem. There have been many documentaries on the racism in Russia, Ross Kemp did a couple and more recently Reggie Yates did two excellent documentaries on racism and homophobia in Russia, not forgetting Channel 4 did a series on it a while back. The Reggie Yates ones are still on BBC I-player if anyone is interested.
