Give up with league and 4th now, mid January and still can't climb above teams like stoke & Palace. Just the cups and europa to look focus on now.

You, sir, are one amazing optimist. Pool is not a great team but we are making them look like Barca. We look effing clueless against them.
It turns out i was an informed realist.

Well it's as i said, Liverpool is just wasteful and their attacking play is not set up, not fully formed. Plus they lack a real top player up there. Against teams like that, it always possible to win with shit football via set piece ot something. Greece even won Euros playing like that:houllier:

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Smash and grab. Brilliant. Couldn't have happened against a better opponent.

Will enjoy swimming in the tears of dipper fans.

Excellent result. Very happy for Rooney to get the all important goal too, will hopefully get people off his back for now. We desperately needed this win, now time to kick on and see what we can salvage from this season. Liverpool were pretty tough and played better than us but De Gea saved us once again.

Apparently we've had 4 shots on target against Liverpool in the last two games and scored all of them.

    Absolutely rrrrrrrrrrrreprehensible.
Regardless of the win, that preformance and lineup was totally unacceptable, were turning into a joke. Were going backwards, nothing shows today that we are moving in the right direction and that's down to LVG, get him out asap. We can no longer paper over cracks.

    haha GET THE F*CK IN!!!

Extremely lucky win, but I'll take it any day of the week! Seems like no matter how shit we are, we still manage to beat Liverpool. 4 wins out of 4 against Liverpool since last season (5 if you count the USA game). It'll probably be the only positive thing Van Gaal will be remembered for when he leaves.

Classic win against scousers - how many times did we see this under SAF. all the players played with heart and commitment even them in the stands (great to see) Miles from perfect but some of the comments around HT on here beg the question: why bother watching/ posting/ supporting in the first place?

I imagine then the comments would have been the same. Not fit to wear the shirt etc. We won, enjoy it.
