It could have been, but the same at times can be said for other teams.@Fully Fledged goes back to what we said about the opposition dictating how you play. I think United dictated how Liverpool played, not pressing their backs so they had the ball. Liverpool had a lot of the ball in non-dangerous positions. Think we played a bit lethargic at times and gave the ball away too much. Thought Liverpool were lucky that Lingard had a meh day, Martial though not particularly good, scared the shit out of them.

I do think that DDG had to have a top class game to give us the platform to win it though.Blind would've been rightly lynched if Firmino had scored there at the end. Shocking laziness not to get back into the line there. De Gea saved his arse.
We're blessed to have him in goals, his composure in situations like that is incredible. I remember reading something about birds before, that they see things in a different frames per second to us and that's why they can move so quickly (leaving it to the last second to fly out of the way of your car etc) - They see everything in a slower motion.
I reckon Dave was born with the same thing.It's shocking to compare both teams from what they were eight years ago. No wonder this game sucked.
