People criticising Lingard's performance really just confirms that he just can't do right no matter what for some on here. Shame about Wilson, just want to see him through on goal that's where he's at his best.

The lads have been in training all of a week, so it's hard to judge this. I would have liked to see more ambition though.
Mhkitarayan has been our best player. Possibly followed by Herrera. Thought I'd see more overlaps from full back, wasn't surprised to see Bailly tell Fosu-Mensah to get on his bike. We could smash these if we played with a little more speed.

Good to see players getting into the swing of things. Shaw still looks like he's wary of crunching tackles, will be a while before the psychological effect of his horrific injury wears off, but good to see him getting a solid 45 minutes under his belt.

Really like the look of Micky. Bailly didn't look overly convincing, but it's early days and he should grow into it.
Herrera looks like he's got a bit of his confidence back at least. Depay is working a bit harder but still looks sloppy as feck.

Fun first half. I actually thought everyone was playing quite well. We created some chances, missed some, and Wigan didn't do anything.

Most players keeping the ball well. Bailly has looked solid and surprisingly skilful. Mkhi by far our best attacking outlet, although he missed a simple chance. Depay and Lingard have done okay with Wilson looking anonymous. If we had strikers, we'd have scored.
Bailly, Herrera, Lingard and Mkhi the 'standouts' so far. Want to see a bit more in attack from everyone in general though. Hoping Axel, Adnan and Keane get some minutes too.

Mkhi is already better at 10 than Rooney. Doesn't lose ball easily, fast, and creative.
Lots of possession but similar to LVG's reign, not much threat. Mkhi Looking sharp, Memhpis looking better than he did for most of last season which is encouraging. Bailly looks pretty good too.
Only concern is I think Shaw might not be over his injury Psychologically. Seems to be very cautious with his left leg, hope he gets crunched in a tackle to show him he can still take a hit tbh.
