    Ramos
    Darmian Jones Rojo Shaw
    Carrick Schneiderlin Fellaini
    Mkhitaryan Rooney Martial

God help us but we must rest the main men and give the others game time the Chelsea game has to be the priority or we risk falling further behind in the prem .
Would be good to see Miki start and Martial could do with a confidence bost

In see no reason to drop DDG , he does not need the rest, I think you should only change your keeper if he is injured, stability at the back come from a sable keeper.

Going to this game tomorrow hoping to see some of our fringe players actually. More likely they will at least try to impress the manager.

Love to see memphis- martial- Rashford or lingard etc

We need our creative players like Martial and Mhikitaryan to start giving us some more attacking options
    O
I think he will pick a team with an eye on Chelsea but I'd like to see

    --------------------------Romero---------------------------
    Darmian----Smalling------Rojo----------Shaw
    -------------------Carrick----Schneiderlin----------
    ----------------------------Mata--------------------------
    Lingard/Mhiki---------------------------Martial
    ---------------------------Rooney-----------------------

Lingard to start or come on but hoping Mhiki gets some time - maybe Fosu-Mensah at right back - I'd like to see Schneiderlin in a more box to box role

This is where the Europa is detrimental. Chelsea have a week off, we get three days. Think we may have to rest a good few players with Chelsea and then City in mind.

We should try to win this thing. The way things are going it could be a route in to CL.

Agree with this team, think we need a complete different 11 than the Liverpool game. Would rather Memphis than Martial though, especially coming off an injury. Put Martial on around 60 when the game opens up.

    Gone for:

    Romero
    TFM Smalling Rojo Shaw
    Carrick
    Mata Schneiderlin
    Mkhitaryan Rooney Lingard
Hopefully Ibra and Pogba are left out completely ahead of Sunday.

Sanctity, like a cat, abhors filth.
I dont have particularly strong feelings about who should play in this one, the only thing I am really desperate to see is Mhikitaryan playing. Would probably play him on the right with Mata in the middle and Martial on the left, with Rooney up front.

Not sure about the midfield and defence. I largely agree with the team @buckooo1978 put above but I worry a bit about making so many changes and players not being match fit, I'd like to play a strong enough team to win convincingly and give the likes of Mhikitaryan the best possible chance to shine. So there is part of me that would like to see Herrera again (in place of Schneiderlin), trusting him to come through this and still be ready for Chelsea.

    Think It'l be:

    Romero

    Darmien
    Smalling
    Blind
    Shaw

    Schneiderlin
    Carrick
    Mata

    Mkhitaryan
    Zlatan
    Lingard

^^ Hard to guess who will play CB, but Bailly has played every game for us so far.

Surprised to see Martial in so many line-ups. He didn't make the bench on Monday due to a knee injury. Knee injuries don't usually take 4 days to recover from. Schneiderlin was also injured so doubt he will be rushed back. I do hope Mhkhi is properly recovered though - we really need him to start getting some minutes, but maybe just as a sub. Our squad depth for the wings is sorely lacking, I do wonder if any winger from the academy could be promoted for at least the bench.

Why no TFM instead of Darmian?

Robin van Persie says it will be a "special occasion" for him at Old Trafford on Thursday night, with the former Manchester United striker telling MUTV that he is looking forward to playing "at home."

The Dutch forward will be back in Manchester with current team Fenerbahce as the Reds prepare to take on the Turkish club in Europa League Group A.

Van Persie, who scored 58 goals in 105 games for the United, spoke to MUTV at the recent Legends of Football event and talked about his excitement about returning to his old club.

"It will be a special occasion and a special game for me," he declared. "I know Manchester United want to be in the Champions League, but it is how it is now and for me it is a very special group in the Europa League. In the last match I had a game against one of my first teams, Feyenoord, and next it’s United. I am looking forward to it.

"I am now playing for Fenerbahce and I want to do well for my team but of course it will be special to play 'at home' [Old Trafford] in a great stadium with great fans against a great team.

"It will be tough for us. United are the favourites, but you never know what will happen. In general I am looking forward to a nice evening and enjoying the whole experience."

Not really. Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Miki, Young, Depay, and Mata at a stretch. Not all of those players may be top quality but it's as much or more depth than we've got anywhere else.

Out of those which do you think are actual wingers? As opposed to #9s #10s or inside forwards for example?

Im hoping for many Van Persie chants. The lad deserves it.

Think Mourinho needs the 3 points for this one - don't want to go to Turkey needing to pick up points and being obliged to pick a stronger team there.

For that reason I reckon he'll prefer Darmien's defensive prowess over TFM.
