Mourinho is said to like him and he's only 23, would happily take him here. His contract finishes next summer.

Yeah apparently has been great in midfield for them.

Would be reluctant to sign anyone from that mentally fragile Arsenal team.

He obviously has the right mentality to want to leave Arsenal before he's wasted the best part of his career there.

Would be a good signing imo. Can play wide or potentially in a midfield 3 as a box to box. Both we need.

English as well. With Rooney, Carrick and Young soon to be leaving there is a lack of English players at the club

I've doubted his potential to be genuinely top class for years. A few of my mates absolutely love him, but I've never rated him.

If he came here and proved me wrong I'd be more than happy with a bowl or two of humble pie, but for now do not want.

Shockingly yes. It feels like he's been around for a long time.

I'm more worried about the fragility of his body. Caf's obsession with psychology is bizarre. People think they know what other people think, but they really don't and it's all guesswork and assumptions at the end.

Robin van Persie...
Better player in a better (or at least less cowardly) Arsenal team.

There's a stink of loser around that Arsenal team and it's hard to know from the outside which players are spreading it.

He's better than Lingard but I don't think we'd successfully entice Arsenal. I'm sure they'd rather flog him off to Liverpool or somewhere.

That made me laugh, because it's so true.

Does it matter that much? I'd rather we went after someone better, English or not.

Think he'll end up at Liverpool. Would suit gegenpressing and being just above average.

I would loved to have signed him from Southampton all those years ago.

He's been quite good this season, but I question his mental strength. I don't think he's the sort of character we need to be adding to a dressing room that is badly in need of new leadership. Rooney, Carrick and Schweinsteiger are coming to the end.

Good player on his day.

He needs to play every week, so he won't be coming here, or he shouldn't anyway.

da feck?

they are pretty similar but Jesse ability to score goals is something so much important than anything the OX might be good at.
He is miles better than Jesse, and an even bigger goal threat depending on where he plays.

I'd take him. What's this nonsense about his psychology and winning mentality? When the whole Arsenal team is like that, you know it is from the manager.

Play him under Mourinho or Conte and he will have a completely different mentality.

Besides, both in Munich and yesterday, he was one of the few players to show a lot of commitment. It was funny to see him in extra time, at 5-1 down and 10-2 on aggregate, running and closing down Neuer.

I'm not reading into his mentality so much as his team's. They've repeatedly proven themselves to be Arsenal. The last thing our team needs is more Arsenal. If we signed AOC I'd basically think of him as some sort of infected survivor of a zombie apocalypse waiting to turn.
