Cracking goal from Ibra to eleviate a dogshit half from us, Shaw has been the only other bright spot.

He went in studs showing at knee height. The ref, following the letter of the law, had no option other than sending him off.

To be honest it was as blatant a red as you'll see.
I think the one in the same phase against Pogba added to it as they were both reckless. He lost out against Pogba and tried to catch him then went for Herrera. At no point was his eye on the ball against Ander. The replay shows he was looking at the legs, not the ball. It was cumulative.

In my opinion it wasn't. It's a yellow card offence and no more. We'd be fuming if a United player got sent off for a challenge like that.

The fact that most in here are saying its harsh tells you something.

At least it'll shut up a few fans that moan about Refs not doing us favours.

Why is it that we need to see injuries from these type of tackles to justify a red card. It was a horrible tackle. Studs a foot of the ground. If he connects with Herreras standing leg he breaks it. It's fecking simple.

Sloppy in possession and nervous said Phil Neville. I'm sure we've been having over 70% of the ball throughout.

Straight red IMO. Rojo did a tacklè some months back that wasnt as bad, and everyone was saying he should have gone.

Never a red card. Careless but worthy of a yellow only. Like half of you lot saying its a deserved red would be saying the same if it was Herrera on Larsson.
He went studs up v Pogba seconds before which lends itself to intent.
Which is a red. Herrera on it's own and it's a yellow.
Lets say they played on and the third challenge was on, he'd probably go studs up again.

Every game for Sunderland is a must win at the mo, so they have to go for it even with 10 men. We need to rip the apart and make up goal difference. Only 2 GD behind Liverpool and if we win our games in hand we'll need the GD to stay ahead of them.

I agree, probably yellow for each of the tackles. But I also think Larson was not in control. Probably 50 50 if red card but letter of law would show ref was right. But like other posters have said Sunderland will get every decision now.
Unfortunate for Larsson. Probably yellow and a good talking would have sufficed. But a red is also a good decision nonetheless.

He has not been anywhere near the 3 he mentioned. The whole season he has not been. He has been very good in 2-3 games and some great goals.

I am his biggest fan on here. I love the kid. Been watching him since his youth games but I am honest enough to say that Zlata, Herrera, and Mikhi have been better this season.

He had a good run a minuted ago but I am not stupid enough to say that he has been the better player because of that otherwise I would change my mind every 3 seconds.
I agree but I missunderstood. I thought we were talking about recently.

We re not very good. Sunderland are awfull and we should have corrected them but have been slow and without imagination.

We re not safe from a penalty a red card so we should push them again and again.

In 10mins I will sub Herrera for Rashford and play two strikers

Redkapp is a complete tw*t-justified the tackle by saying he looked, saw it was Herrera and knew he had a reputation for leaving his foot in so went in accordingly-unbelievable!

To have Redknapp and Neville analysing the game is tragic. I don't know who has less character but they don't think that's a red. If Larsson hits him in the knee Herrera is done.

Sky make me laugh all over the little trip by Bailey but nothing about Ovedio rugby tackle on Felliani. Way to stay neutral sky.

Bit worried that ref will try to balance things up in the second half
