Ajax's last league game is on 14th May. Ours is on the 21st so they'll have a week's more rest than us. Mourinho said he'd likely play a weak side against Palace but can see that being extended to include Southampton and possibly Spurs too.
think Spurs will depend on Liverpool result.

A battering at WHL in their last game their would be disastrous

Biggest game for a couple of years. Please play DDG, Romero can have the remaining league games.

All our league games from this point on will be training matches. We effectively have only 180 minutes (plus any ET) of competitive football left this season, and 17 days to prepare for it. Tiredness won't be an issue. There'll be loads of time for rest and recovery thanks to the Arsenal result.

Possibly too much rest? Also bare in mind they'll likely have lost the league title in the match prior to this so it won't be a nice rest.

    Romero
    Valencia--Bailly--Blind--Darmian
    Herrera--Fellaini--Pogba
    Mkhitaryan--Rashford--Lingard

subs: De Gea, Tuanzebe, Jones, Carrick, Mata, Rooney, Martial

I want Martial to start but after he played 90 mins I know Lingard will be starting.

No one will be moaning about today when we get through Thursdays game.
It's all about the bigger picture.

Looking forward to this one now.

I'm guessing it will be the same side as last week but I'd personally play Martial rather than Mkhi.

    Romero
    Valencia - Bailly - Blind - Darmian
    Herrera
    Fellaini - Pogba
    Mata - Rashford - Lingard
See, this is the key right there. Today, when it was still 0-0, I wrote that our midfield is very soft and that we lacked physicality (Arsenal reached our box easily). Poor Herrera, he was left to do all the work-- offensively and defensively. With these two back, we should have a much better (and balanced) midfield, particularly given that the two were rested today and Herrera didn't play a full game.

One thing though, I'm not sure if Mata will start, and if the choice is between Martial and Mikhi, I rather go for the latter.

We need an early goal or goal in 1st half at least. God forbid they score somehow, that it will be panic stations. Especially since we have so much problems with scoring.

Going for a 1-1 because United never do it the easy way.

It will be very tense being 1-1 with 10/20 mins to go, knowing that if they score we're out.

How many games now did they play their second team? 3,4,5? They lost them all in the league.

I think Celta will score early rather than us and it will force Mourinho to be more open in the way we play. Need a massive performance from Rashford I reckon. Hope he is up for it.

The fact that the party that made the Celta was not too good. I've been through the forum of the United, or at least one of those, and the almost unanimous impression is that we were a disappointment. And not to underestimate, rather, they would very respectfully before the game, mentioning our weapons and achievements against teams like Madrid, but after Apparently, there have been comments like that would cost us to maintain the category at the premiere or Swansea offered more than the previous week. Duelen read some of the words but you have to understand, given what has been offered. Better your team is on another level, but that does not mean a lack of freshness and quite disturbing ideas not notice. I think the lack of competitive rhythm influenced this. In hindsight it is easy to say, almost all agreed we reserve players, but I think at least some influence in the party.

It is not a quality problem, I think it has been a problem freshness. I fully trust the quality of our players, but if we think, what is better: run 10 km, stopping 30 minutes to run another 10 km, or 20 km run followed? Review the will of all kinds, but of course that would be matched one side and the other to decide which is better.

The truth is that the differential players did not have the opportunity to play long ball, Guidetti just came to him. Wass then missed a chance it could have changed the course, and then Jonny nor dared to shoot from a position a little to go strong on one side, come in , but little else. We not just generate occasions.

Anywhere, I know this is the thread of the new party. As Berizzo said, which I trust, you have to take the good, and that is to learn from the mistakes of this match. A try holders against Malaga (in the same way that Barcelona did tests in the league to attempt the comeback PSG) and then to trust us, who have given us reason to
The only team that managed to make more than one goal at Old Trafford was the city winning 1-2.This was on September 10.
I take listened and read which will end with a 1-2 at Old Trafford. Most reviews optimistic talk about it but I do I think about it, it has to be the outcome, I say ... I hope that the second goal when the metamos not be time for anything because we all know this to defend a Celtic result is a horror movie. I do not even want to imagine having to defend a 1-2 with 10 or 15 minutes more on the discount before these bigardos.

So, I prefer to imagine that we will win 0-2. More than anything for our heart health.
Arsenal wins 2-0. It seems that United will lose their unbeaten run, and a priori, I think that we can come good. Recall that the Madrid just before losing to us in Cup, also lost their unbeaten against Sevilla.

Clearly, each case is different , but hey, there it is.
It seems impossible ...... Old Trafford ...., 0: 1 equipazo opposite Mouriño a great motivator and strategist ... yq Manchester will do the same, .... will play not to lose.
For me personally I think if we um 1% is a lot.
I've preferred not to read his opinions, because he knew that would be hurtful. But, as you say, in the light of our party, it is understandable.

Just hope it will trust that, but I doubt that the Special One allow relaxation among his.
the Barsa and the United same look that a stone a chicken: nothing.
Physically our more physical guys we have eaten. He will have to try to play something else, because that does not work.
In the forums of Manchester arguments go with this level

    Celta are shite.

    Hopefully there comeback

Whats all about the freshness issue and physically shot players/team?

They are getting rested in the league since weeks, surely they dont have issues there?

I think the physical thing is about Pogba and Fellaini dominating their midfield in strength

Yep, thats true, Pogba and Fellaini toyed with them physically.

I am really curious to see what their approach will be. Defend and counter attack or go for it from the beginning. They are better than what they showed in the first game.

I think the guy was referring to momentum. That all this chopping and changing has come at a cost and dpesn't deliver an upside (being fresh for a physical game, which doesn't seem to work against us).
