Had to be said Rooney created the only two chances we had... Doesn't excuse the rest of his performance, though.

Wouldn't bother. Just take him off and play with 10Who can we put on for Rooney lads??
Maybe for his club Arsenal.Tyler referring to the rain as "tears from the sky". What a twat.
Not anymore, under SAF always had hope, now can't score 1 in big away gamesYup, because we don't ever attack or make comebacks. Shite stuff.
As big of an idiot as the other 10...Are you watching the game? How big of an idiot is Rooney exactly.
I don't think anyone doesn't respect Rooney for what he's done for the club over the years but he's currently an absolute liability. It's like having a terminally ill dog an not putting it down because you'll miss it. Just do everyone a favour and do it so we can remember the good times.Couldn't agree more with this. Admittedly he is a terrible footballer these days but, he has given us so much in the past.
Is Rooney our captain, couldn't see the armband
Exactly, just enjoy it for the comedy it is.I don't get why people are so depressed here. This is a nothing match for us and it shows, both in the team selection and in the motivation. We don't just put out a team of kids because they'd risk getting thrashed by six or seven goals. That's not going to happen with this lot, who'll just play a dire match and probably lose by a couple of goals. If we didn't have anything else to play for, I'd want us to put out a strong side to finish on a high but we've got our most important match of the last few years coming up soon and everything else is utterly meaningless.
Has to be one of Wayne's worst performances.
Christ, he wouldn't last a month there! He'd love Las Vegas.
What happens if they get injured in training, maybe they should stay in bed for the next 10 days? What happens if they get injured?
Just being pessimistic.
Yep apparently was in his 70s
It was Moss no question and Rooney can still outrun Moss I'm sure.Sure you are not looking at Rooney ? easy mistake
Lots of stuff like this being thrown around this thread. We've been playing badly in the league since the Leicester game. This isn't a one off.I don't get why people are so depressed here.
Now while you are right in some aspects. That comment smacks of knee jerk reaction-ism which has become all too common on these forums.Didn't prepare enough, underestimated the scale of things. If we were going to compete on four fronts and in the most physical league where injuries are bound to happen we should have bought accordingly just in case.
He was late to react with changing gameplans subs, or stubbornly sticks to a long ball tactic just like VG when it wasn't working when we needed to change things up in the draws. Bizarre when he's been here for years and knows the Prem like the back of his hand.. I can understand for VG as it was his first season in England back then.
And on the glaring misses, it's down to him partly. Could have the squad on extra finishing trainings. It looks like they still are shite at finishing even if they did it though.
Of course, all the blame isn't on him. Some should be on the players ultimately.
Wow.Yep apparently was in his 70s
What? Evra Vidic and Rio and ONE bad season. Then the left. How many season has Rooney now been cack? 4 at least. Enough is enough. To be fair, we had players like Ferdinand, Evra, Giggs, Vidic declining and i cant remember them receiving the same criticism as Rooney has received (assumption).
Martial missed a good chance, and Bailly could've scored had he gone for it. Spurs should've scored more, but we should've scored too.Spur could be 3-0 up. That's how poor we are. Jose better throw a hair dryer at every player. Embarrassing!
The cool walk is fooling us.Bailly looks like he can't be bothered at times
Stop blaming him - he is usually alone against 3 defendersMartial has been useless as per usual
You think Jose will allow DDG for a bargain basement price?DDG has been a loyal servant don't think we'll make much trouble if he wants to leave, plus he's been classy about it.
Because he's far from our worst player and has contributed with a lot of goals and assists since he got here. And you do realise Mourinho sold Mata at Chelsea, right? And Rooney has hardly played this season. I highly doubt Jose is 'scared' to take them off. Your posts are laughableTo avoid uproar. Why on earth do you think Mata is still here? He should have been off in the summer, he will be offloaded this time round.
Im just implying that he is on huge wages, we shouldn't be discussing this here in detail now or should we? I am only quoting what I read here and on newspapers. No he doesn't, for feck's sake. Stop repeating this without doing any research.
Literally anyone that's willing to run and put a shift in will do.Who can we put on for Rooney lads??
He's the only one showing some flair tbh.Everyone likes to slate him, which is fair based on performance, but give Rooney credit for that ball to Bailly
