I think Bannon hung on hoping that while Trump is an imperfect medium he is still the only option for his ideas.

Him jumping off the ship says more about him giving up on hoping to get anything accomplished with Trump.

He'll go back to being a fringe media guy at Breitbart. Be an occasional pain in the ass to Trump. Trump can however call them fake media and revoke their White House credentials and be done with it if they get too bothersome or vicious.

I don't know why but in a bizarrely innocent way, Bannon's appearance does remind me of a typical dad in his 40s/50s who boozes like a madman every Friday with his old work buddies, before returning home with a cheeky kebab and barely able to get himself into the house before he falls asleep on the stairs with the kebab on his chest.

 Just on Fridays? I reckon he's out on the lash every night. Probably falls asleep in his lazy boy each night with a bottle of whiskey cradled in his arm and one hand down the top of his unbuttoned jeans and Fox News on the telly.

Oh god, that reminds me. I was having a conversation with someone a few weeks ago about Trump and Mexicans and the person was arguing that the the 'They're not sending their best' was actually 'Their not sending their best' and that was apparently a nuance that made sense, and changed the meaning of what he said so it wasn't racist. Was baffling.
How did he argue that it makes sense? Isn't 'Their not sending their best' just broken English?..

Speaking of great arguments, I saw a Trump fanatic say yesterday that he couldn't understand why "the libs" are now crying over these Confederate monuments and what happened in Charlottesville (He summarized what happened by saying that a couple of crazy groups got together and "someone got run over", he conveniently didn't mention the Nazis or what Trump said and didn't say at all).
Anyway, the ONLY explanation he could think of was that the left is embarrassed of being wrong about the Russia collusion, so now they are acting out. :houllier:
He finished with "the mind control is strong" and yes, he was serious.

You could almost think that he was a massive idiot. Almost.

Strong statement from Romney

Wow, that's indeed very strong.
The GRU cant have people dissenting on Trump on their main forum.
Of course not, one of their rules is actually that it's for Trump supporters only, and any hint of negativity usually results in a quick ban. They complain over and over because reddit has taken steps to prevent their posts from reaching the front page, and by that "limiting their free speech". And yes, the irony is completely lost on them.

Ah so you have went for the alternative scenario where he hasn't bagged himself a MILF who now hates his guts. I reckon Steve could pull a KKK Barbie no problem in his younger Navy days.

Oh no, she's upstairs in bed alone while he sleeps downstairs stewing in his own farts and drunken whisky burps.

Someone posted that Tweet here earlier, was it meant in the context it's being reported here?

And more bad news for Trump and son. (as if Trump wasn't in a bad enough mood already)

To me it looked like a threat to Bannon's enemies in the WH.

 Brilliant.
 Would have been even better if you had Scaramucci holding some postcards.

“If they don’t stop leaking, I’m going to put them out on Pennsylvania Avenue – it’s a very clear thing. You want to sell postcards to the tourists outside the gate or you want to work in the West Wing? What do you want to do? If you want to work in the West Wing, you’ve got to stop leaking.”

I still don't see this the end of Trump, he's literally the king of misdirection and manipulation of particularly stupid folk, he could easily change course from the racist KKK breitbart luvvie that he currently is showing, he'll just swing it around and pretend nothing ever happened and his best friend is black, promise.

Looks likely Bannon went out in a bad way and not on friendly terms.

Trump's not tweeted to praise Bannon. Nor is there a interview on Hannity like the other high profile casualties (Scaramucci, Spicer & Priebus) have done after they were forced out.

That letter from Romney is absolutely scathing. What's incredible about it, is how strong the language is, and how 99.99999999% we know that demanding Trump apologize for anything, is going to make him double down on it.

I'm sure it would have had more impact if it came from a Romney that hadn't been publically humiliated by Trump. Trump owns Romney after that, he made him look like a punk. Weak, pathetic, clueless and desperate, not really qualities that are considered endearing. Unfortunately any hit on Trump from Romney just comes across as bitter and is seen as a revenge hit and an awful lot of the impact is lost. It's a real shame because that letter is excellent and incredibly well written but Romney's credibility lessens the impact it should have had. It has also been completely lost in todays news so is hardly being mentioned, which is a real shame.

Yea, but its still from the mainstream GOP. Romney might not be the last.
