Should be up already, Mata's goal should have stood. Ref been a bit shit too. But we need to play wider much quicker, build up is too slow. We cannot think it's a good idea to only have Blind on the left whilst Martial plays a free role, leaving us very exposed for a counter attack sucker punch...
    Nah it was offside.

Good performance, but we're missing that cutting edge to really slice them open. I guess that's why our main tactic is getting it out wide, but we're not doing anything with the ball once it gets out wide. Valencia either crosses the ball straight at the LB or cuts back, passes it to a midfielder, who works it back to Valencia to ping a cross at another Leicester defender. We have to be smarter than that.

I'm a bit worried now. We played good but this game has the same feeling as last season.

Pogba is too selfish it's unreal. He tried to shoot almost every ball he gets in front of the goal and always tries to take on player, disrupting our build up. Mourinho should tell him to move the ball faster ffs.

We don't score early in the second half we're in trouble.

Decent performance not panicking yet. If it gets to 70 mins and we've still not scored I'll start worrying.

Valencia out there breaking ankles with his crossing. Blind poor too. They're both getting a lot of space and doing nothing with it

We need one decent ball from Valencia or Blind and we'll win the game. I'm serious. The crossing has been shocking this half. Does no one in the team practice them?

    WHat is that?
Started brightly, looked very dangerous. As things stopped coming off, I felt like his head went down and he became increasingly anonymous. I think it's a confidence issue. Important we keep him on and let him play through it.

All I remember was that one cross.
2 lay offs to Pogba, slipped ball to Mata and 2 or 3 crosses. He's probably been our best player.
Also at one point they put four on him to stop him and he went in to the middle of that and got a pass off.

Mistake not starting with rashford, he tires out defences for martial to tear em apart when tired , it's not worked other way round

To the people complaining about Pogba shooting from distance and Valencia passing instead of crossing....Leicester have 8 men in the box at all times...Just stay patient...The break through will happen!

3 or 4 clean body checks not given in dangerous positions. Maddening.

They don't look interested in doing anything except hitting it long for Vardy to chase.

Loads of crosses amounting to nothing. Need to give the ball to Martial in those areas and let him bring it towards goal. Our best chance came from doing that. Valencia can't get the ball past the first man and Blind is lobbing it over every man. They've got two big lumps at centre back so I'm not sure why we are overloading crosses.

Oliver once again at OT with a point to prove. Such a cnut.

Would be pretty nice if Valencia could put in a decent cross every once in a while.

We'll get plenty of chances still, just need to start converting them.

Decent half. Unlucky not to be ahead. Feels like everything goes to Pogba and Valencia though. We miss Rashford's presence in attack.

Loving Martials mazy inside movements, proving space for Blind who has also been fantastic. Only Mhki of the attacking department has been abit quiet.

Need to come out in a STORMING BLITZ in 2nd half.

Valencia's tendency to stop still with the ball when the attack is flowing, turn around, pass it back...

Honestly I was sick of it 4 seasons ago and he's still doing it. Pogba and Mata must despair at him at times.
This, he takes too much time on the ball. Football IQ of a pigeon. It's like he is being controlled in PES and only runs up and down with R1 always on.

Valencia and Blind terrible crossing are out of this world. We only made one good cross through the half.

Is it much to ask Valencia to put in one decent cross?
Or if not a good cross, at least try a few first time, he slows the attacks down, not just when we're being patient..

Well, Valencia and Blind can't cross. Valencia's efforts have largely been hitting the first defender and Blind's have frequently been too long. Lukaku must be feeling quite starved of service. Mata has been drifting inside (as we know he does) too much to stay out wide and cross, and yet his ability with his left foot would provide a fantastic alternative to Valencia's right foot only approach down that side, give the Leicester defence something else to think about.

Lukaku's holdup and link play as been great, looks like he really has been working on it and it's testament to his hard work that he's doing as well as he is against two big physical defenders in Maguire and Morgan. Pogba seems to be doing what he always does when we dominate but don't score - long shots. To be fair to him, he does look likely to get one on target today.

I think things will become much more fruitful for us as the game wears on, assuming we don't concede. So far, the same as the first two league games, with the exception of not having scored. I'd say Leicester are a step up in quality over West Ham and Swansea though, so that's not really surprising.

If only we'd had players who can actually put a decent cross in.

I'd trade both Valencia and Blind for a retired Beckham any day of the week.

I think one big problem with our crosses is the movement. Martials movement is not very good and it often feels like we only have Lukaku in the box.

    Good half, complete control.

If we can get one we'll score a few again, just need to break the deadlock and force them out a bit.

Crossing is frustrating though, as well as the usual shite corners.

This is a game we would've drawn or lost last season... let's see how far we've come...!

Considering the way we play, the fullbacks should be considered our most important roles. Marcelo and Dani Alves would've been golden.

I think we need to work on quick passing combinations and direct dribbling once we get into the final third. For all the possession we've had so far, we haven't really been able to engineer many great chances inside the box. Any team that sits back in a compact shape is always going to be hard to break down; what we've been doing so far today hasn't really been able to break down that compact shape.

Its funny seeing technical players like, Pogba, Mata and Miki playing, but we would rather pass to the fullbacks to cross most of the time instead of through balls or some one touch moves.

    We need a goal, badly.
We do. Leicester won the league with next to no possession. We have to get them out of their comfort zone. The not being able to get Perisic is looking bad at the moment. Although we have got a lot of our goals in the 2nd half, so here's hoping.
