I can never tell if he's serious, if he's having a bit of a laugh or whether he and his PR team view his supporters as being stupid enough to believe it.

Yeah, I don't get why people laugh at this.

More than enough people believe this rubbish that when reality bites, there will be civil war, because they will always believe removing him is a coup. They will think the same if he loses an election, because he will tell them its the only way he loses.

Its not funny, its how dictators claim power.

Speaking from the actual bottom of the showbiz world, our Trivial TV Crap expert states:

"This is exactly what many reality show 'stars' do: they tell you (the viewing public) that they're smart, successful, talented and, unlike others, free from hypocrisy. This is not merely egoism - it's done because nobody else but them thinks it is so, so nobody else will say it. Also, saying these things establishes a narrative which is lapped up by fans & casual observers. I'm not kidding - watch any Real Housewives show and you'll hear exactly the same things spoken by the very worst participants."

The forumla is generally - the dumber the tweet, the more desperate he is to change the topic.

FFS he's literally just openly admitted he's a WUM.

Ignore him. He should be removed from the thread to be honest.
Harsh - am just trying to create some provocative debate. The balance is skewed in this thread IMHO.

No you're not, at all. Not even a little bit.

That's why you post knowingly inflammatory bullshit and ignore the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, then disappear for a while before coming back and starting over.

You're a WUM, and not a good one.

Why did you think the balance is skewed? Why do you think you need to restore this balance?

But Hillary?

There’s nothing remotely insightful about your so called provocations. You just come across as an attention seeking contrarian with little knowledge of the subject matter you’re posting about. Not that being knowledgeable is a prerequisite of posting here, but if you want to stir the pot you better be able to back it up with lengthy in-depth content to support your views.

Hoping the next administration (Democratic unless the unthinkable happens again) rolls back this assault on government regulations.

The EPA for example, it's amazing how much damage has already been done with regards to climate change research and initiatives to slow the tide. Because coal. Idiots (for lack of a stronger yet Caf banned word)

I think it's a combination of a few things. He's a top troll, has an ego like few ever before, is a bit stupid (though not as much as he displays), is obviously racist, and he's almost definitely suffering from some kind of dementia. Put it all together and you have a great cult leader.

You can bet your ass if Hillary were president when this Niger thing happened the GOP would be holding hearings immediately and calls for impeachment echoing around the talk radio, Fox News, and Republican landscape.
The GOP would probably be confused because they didn't think they were allowed to say that word in public anymore...

Yes, I remember reading that it mutated from an internal GOP opposition-research thing to Hillary's operation.

I don’t think people realise how significant this is. While the GOP try to pin this on the Hillary campaign, it makes it very difficult to sling shit and call for investigations and charges when members of their own party started it.

We knew this to be the case but just didn't know who the GOP entity that commissioned it was. Now we do.

Massive news breaking out of the Mueller investigation.

CNN are reporting charges have been filed and arrests will be made as early as Monday.

Guardian said:
At a briefing on Friday, which came amid a series of sexual harassment scandals across the country, a CBS News reporter noted that Trump has called the allegations from at least 16 women “fake news”, and asked: “Is the official White House position that all of these women are lying?”

Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded: “Yeah, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning, and the president has spoken on it.” She did not comment further and quickly moved on to another question.
Christ, she's a lickspittle beyond the call of duty. If Trump murdered her, Sanders would claim in a seance that it was suicide.

I'm moving the entire investigation stuff into the new Russia Investigation thread.
Was a good idea to create a new thread.. I made the post when i saw the news on CNN and saw the new thread afterwards.

Scary bunch but I firmly believe the overwhelming majority of them are just keyboard warriors. It's easy to act macho in an online echo-chamber but much more difficult to act out in public with real life repercussions at play.

Pretty much, yeah. Most of them have no substance behind their posts and react poorly as soon as they're challenged. Hence why they all congregate in the online echo chamber complaining about echo chambers.

Yeah, there are a lot of those. Saw this picture on another forum, and it made me laugh.

It's taken from the Wolfenstein discussion forum on Steam. Both DOTA 2 and Magic 2014 released in the summer of 2013, so he's spent an average of 9,5 hours per day playing video games over the last four years. So yeah, okay duder, you'll totally hand out some beatdowns to all those liberals, as soon as you manage to separate yourself from your chair.

For those not in the know, Wolfenstein games star William Joseph Blazkowicz, nazi killer supreme, and (not suprisingly) revolve around killing nazis. The new one takes place in an alternate timeline where the nazis conquered the world, including America. The story is set in the USA, where the mission is inspire the populace to rebel and rid America of nazis, all while killing massive amounts of nazis (and some klansmen, for good measure). This has been paired with a brilliant, and extremely anti-nazi promotional campaign. The alt-right have not taken kindly to it.

So some 135lb, hot pockets eating, living in his parent's house, 25 year old gamer is going to confront me/you/anyone in public... that won't end well for gamer boy. I'm certainly no brawler or Rambo badass but I can handle my own. And I figure that goes for most people in general against gamer boy. These clowns are entertaining though still a bit frightening because they could very well go Columbine on the public.

Yeah I wouldn't play this like the big guys will kill you. That's what's scary. The one that won't get into a fight will kill you. I'm a guy that tries to walk away but has a snapping point. Mrs Blaggs has told me to cut it out because of my kids. I'm now totally ignoring it because it isn't worth it.

I know this adds nothing to the discussion and your point is still perfectly valid, but:
(11469+1194)/(4*365) = 8.67 h.
