It's only November, but who are your top 8 sides in Europe up to this point in time?

Most leagues are ten games in and we've had 4 games played in the Champions League. The sample size is decent and there have been quite a few projecting a whole season off the back of the form of some teams' performance in these few games (City will walk the universe, etc.) so, who would be your top 8 teams across Europe thus far. From 1. being top dog, down?

I don't watch enough of other leagues to comment without talking out of my ass, to be honest.

Suspect City, PSG and Barca are currently in the top 3 though.

I don’t agree with Madrid being in the top 8 or anywhere near it this season.

PSG
Barcelona
City
Munich
United
Napoli
Shaktar
Spurs

My top 8 will be in this order
1. PSG
2. City
3. Barca
4. United
5. Napoli
6. Spurs
7. RMA
8. Bayern

I have been really impressed with how much we have improved. I know still a long way to go but a good result against Chelsea and we could be kicking strong for the rest of the season.

PSG - clearly the team with better results overall so far
Man Shitty - bar Napoli home game, they've been solid
Barcelona - Shaky at UCL, but very solid at La Liga
Manchester United - Solid at UCL, a few levels down at EPL
Real Madrid - Seem to be a bit off form, but they still can recover with the talent at disposal
Spurs - They are really keeping their levels up there.
Shakthar Donetsk - With somewhat scarce resources when compared to a few years ago, they play very attractive football.
Bayern - started with some problems, but they are coming back to their level.

How are Spurs keeping their levels up there and United are a few levels down in the EPL when Spurs failed to beat United and sit => 3 points behind United?

I'm basing on current form and also what I'd back moving forward and also based on last season (which wasn't long ago).

Real Madrid - I know poor form and that, but hard to argue against them for me.
PSG
City
Barca
United
Spurs
Bayern
Juventus

Honorable mention to Valencia who have been doing great things in La Liga this season and look a force to be reckoned with. Some of these sides will likely move up, down and out of those rankings in the next 2-3 months. We haven't seen how the current Barca deal with a dip in Messi's form or a bad result or two, same with City.

City are right up there, scared they’re gonna win the Champions League to be honest. Who’s gonna stop them?

Assuming only based on performance in CL?

1-3:No particular order.
Spurs, City and PSG: Spurs win against injury ridden BVB, and 4 points against sub par Real M. City win over Shaktar at home, and 6 points against Napoli. PSG destroying a very weak Bayern and some other weak teams.
All three teams have impressive wins, but against teams out of form(RM and BM) and Napoli at San Paolo where it could have gone both ways.

4-5:
Roma and Barcelona. Good results against Chelsea and against Juventus at home.

6: Manchester United: So low based on weak group.

7-8:
Besiktas: Supposed to be the weakest team in their group. 10 points against Monaco, Leipzig and Porto.
Shaktar: Did ok against City away, impressive against Napoli at home. Feyernord are clueless, so not much to take from that.

Would have been different if including league performance.

Probably in order (taking in account both the league and UCL performances)

1. Paris
2. City
3. Barcelona

4. Spurs
5. United
6. Juve
7. Bayern

8. Napoli

There is hardly a difference between the top 3, Juve and Bayern look worse than usual (Bayern have improved recently though), Spurs better than I expected, United have been efficient but not spectacular, and Madrid have been poor, but we all know that they are going to be there when it comes to UCL. Napoli have been brilliant in the league but they are practically out of UCL.

Atletico is the biggest surprise of the season IMO. Their cycle seem to have come to an end. BVB have also been poorer than I expected.

  8. Napoli=Spurs=Chelsea
There's the top 10 for me. City are in the best form along with PSG probably, but the others have shown it for much longer. United has the best defence around IMO, but Juve is still a quality side and I'm sure will show it come the knockout stages. Long way to go in the champions league and teams often don't show their best form in the group stages anyway.

They're simply too resiliant on Messi. If anything they have been less cohesive than we've been. If we had their midfield and Suarez in this form we would be ripping them to shreds.
Is own goal still their second top scorer?

Why are Shakhtar being mentioned? I find it hard to believe so many of you have watched their domestic and European games (bar the game against City) to say they’re one of the top 8 teams in Europe.

City, PSG, Barça look to be the strongest side.

MU, Tottenham, Roma are just behind in terms of results.

And I would put Besiktas in 7 for their surprisingly good performance.

8 places is between bayern or juve.

3- Barca
4- Us
