He started off promising, never lost a bowl game, but apparently egotistical and a bully and when he started losing the wheels came off.Bout time

Tennessee has just fallen off the rails since they got rid of Fulmer. I don't know what it's going to take to right that ship at this point. He started off promising, never lost a bowl game, but apparently egotistical and a bully and when he started losing the wheels came off.

I think these are the AP rankings ?Edit: wtf - the stuff from the CFP website was different than what they just released
Either way, Clemson is NOT the #2 team in the country
That’s a possibility. I think they were closer to right than the CFP is though.I think these are the AP rankings ?
On current form Miami is playing as well as anyone, but the rankings don't really matter too much right now since Miami and Clemson will play in 20 days to settle things. Also Bama will play Auburn and possibly UGA within the next few weeks, so things will likely shift around each week.I agree with the teams listed in the top 4, but I would have placed Miami second. They're in the running at least.
Yeah for sure.it will be hilarious when virginia beats miami
What do you think of Harbaugh's tenure so far?it will be hilarious when virginia beats miami
The first year was better than expected. The second was ultimately a disappointment but we lost 3 games by 5 points, hard to really complain when you accept variance. This year is actually pretty good, considering we've played most of the season with our starting quarterback and #1 receiver AND had 1 returning start on defense. 8-4 and a bowl game against LSU or Oklahoma State or someone is fine in a rebuilding year. What do you think of Harbaugh's tenure so far?
He's Manziel with more arm talent and less substance abuse. Is Mayfield gonna be another Manziel knucklehead at the next level?
OU's head coach is not stating him against to WVU as punishment him for his actions against KU. No, not benching him - just not starting him. That will teach him!
I personally don't have an issue with his antics. He's still young and immature and the heat of the moment gets to him, obviously.
I loathed Mayfield between the flag planting in Columbus and the shock loss against Iowa StateIs Mayfield gonna be another Manziel knucklehead at the next level?

Was watching the CFB show on ESPN. The committee chairman emphasises that there is very little separation between 1 and 5.
I'd like to see how his offense would do in the SEC, but he may feel more comfortable in the PAC-12.Fat Chip to Florida or UCLA?
I agree. Bama v Auburn will count for a lot this weekendWas watching the CFB show on ESPN. The committee chairman emphasises that there is very little separation between 1 and 5.
There was some chatter about which is better and most feel UCLA due to the less pressure whereas Florida will have unrealistic expectations. There's also the landscape - nothing really dominant in PAC-12 whereas the SEC is stacked with the dominant program and a couple others that are near top tier level. I'd probably take the UCLA job as well.I'd like to see how his offense would do in the SEC, but he may feel more comfortable in the PAC-12.
The Bama dynasty is over now that Miami is on the rise and they and other teams won't have easy accces to South Florida talent anymore. Expect Clemson, Miami, Auburn, and UGA to rise.Weird that no one has been able to make Florida a power in the 2000's other than Meyer. They should be a constant counterweight to Bama.
I'd love to see another offensive guru like Chip take a shot at the SEC. It's getting stagnant down there since Saban came along.
Watch this space over the next couple of years.
Only when Miami is perennially bad and loses recruits. Bama have one this year (who may yet flip to the U), but after that it will be slim pickens.alabama gets 1-2 players per year from south florida, they will be just fine.
And yet it continues to pursue them. That will end shortly. UF and FSU will now have to go through skinny years of their own.Alabama doesnt need south florida players.
You can spam it up with smileys all you want, but the reality is everything goes in cycles and Bama's run is nearing an end. They have the 34th best recruiting class in college football this year. Guess what that will mean in the coming few years.
For their sake I hope so since we are only a 29 days off from the early signing window. They must either feel very stacked from previous #1 classes or simply aren't taking many players this year.because they only have 11 players and the recruiting season is ongoing. they are 4th in average star rating and i guarantee they will be top 10 after signing day

Elite programs often don't fill their quota until late on. To say 34th would be misleading is an understatement. For their sake I hope so since we are only a 29 days off from the early signing window. Yeah but that doesn't mean that waiting until very late means they will get the best players. Many players are already committed now and others are committing elsewhere every day. I would be surprised if Bama wind up with an elite class this year since a majority of the good players are already off the board.Elite programs often don't fill their quota until late on.
