If we can get Sanchez and play him on the right( He has played there for Chile) then with Lukaku up front and Martial on the left, we would score against any team.

The only thing annoyed me wa the lack of intensity to go get more goals.
It is something in our team and we frequently start slow as well.
No issues with anything else really I think we could show a little more intensity to score some more without compromising or risking the play just by increasing the pace of the pass.

Pogba starting to do what we all knew he was capable of. Imperious performance tonight.

Man Utd did well up front, very efficient in the first half. Total shambles at the back.

I know they've conceded a lot, but I feel the commentators are putting way too much emphasis on the amount Stoke concede. For too long they've not had anywhere near enough quality up top. In this match, for example, they took off a decent goalscorer who can't run and replaced him with a decent runner who can't score.

Anyway, from our perspective a nice comfortable night with a couple of beautiful goals. We could have done without giving away so many chances, but apart from that it was pretty easy. Would have liked us to push for more, but that's just me being greedy.

That was comfortable. .Should have scored.more. These are the games to increase your goal tally. Failed to do that to an extent. But anyways this match seemed secondary as all eyes/hear are on Sanchez.

Easy game but Stoke were terrible.
We didn't create all that much - still we struggle to find that space and pass around the box.
Lukaku playing very well, but was afforded huge space.

Happy with the result but not one to read too much into - we played a team who had no game plan other than to have a go, we were always going to win.

Three very good goals and some quality play, a bit too open through the middle in the first half but saw the second half out fairly comfortably.

Also, I really like Stoke's away kit. Reminded me of 90s Football Italia. Something about Sampdoria in that kit.

Good win. 3 cracking goals. Attack and midfield did well. Pogba MOM, but a better finishing side would have got a draw. The middle of defence was shocking at times. We need better options than Smalling and jones paired together.

Competent performance. Back to putting the sword to teams we should.

PS) Are we the most wasteful team in the league? We miss so many chances.

Absolutely fantastic game to watch.
Solid. Physically, technically and tactically superior to the opposition.

Lukaku was a pain for their defenders to deal with, grabbed himself a goal.

Martial both creating, scoring and trying a few long-shots. Very good game.

Mata getting into good positions together with Lingard (who mostly made the right decisions and made runs to create space for others in attack), but failed on the finishes.

Shaw had Shaqiri struggling all game, and offered a bit of support for Martial. Not the best team-play together with Martial who more often opted for going at it himself or going inwards but Shaw was there to have the option of stretching play almost all game while working tirelessly back in defense.

De Gea with another great game where nothing got past him.

Jones doing really well with pushing up the field and passing through the first-presser instead of taking it slow and sideways.

Matic having a few good passes of his own, but mostly being his disciplined self helping us keep a balance when we push forward.

Valencia. Left-foot. Goal.

Pogba with a absolute masterclass performance. 10/10.

Only players not doing very well today were Lingard, Mata & Smalling. And despite that they were all working hard and being part of the working team today. Very enjoyable for me overall. :D

I hope Stoke go down for not giving Bauer the number 24 shirt. Disgrace to the sport.

I'm watching Owen and Hargreaves post match analysis, what a miserable bunch.

Btw watching these 2 talk crap just to watch Jose's press conference.

Pogba being interviewed. No offence but when has a player's post-match interview revealed anything interesting, ever? Always stay on script. Might as well just get their agent to draft a statement and have it read out by someone else.

Definitely left a few goals out there. A few dangerous chances by Stoke but we have DDG.

Shaw seemed very comfortable. Also did a good job helping to put off Diouf on that rebound.

An easy game to watch for a change, expectedly so, against the worst team we have played in ages. When I saw their line-up I knew it was going to be a good afternoon. Sluggish in the first half, only to score a couple of goals due to our enormous quality compared to them. Pogba easily the best player on the pitch - as usual.

DDG - 7.5 -
Valencia - 7.5
Jones - 7
Smalling - 6.5
Shaw - 7
Martial - 8
Matic - 6.5
Pogba - 8.5 - MOTM
Mata - 6.5
Lingard - 5
Lukaku - 7

We didn’t break a sweat today, could/should even had a few more goals.

I was going to say the same thing. Why the heck did SAF had to buy Michael Owen? What a cnut.

It s absolutely frightening to think that Pogba can and will get better and more consistent. Master class from him, and whilst he needs some work on tracking runners, it will come.

Martial yet again proving to be our most consistent goals/assists producer. Sloppy all around play from him, but if this is wjat he can produce when carrying a knock, he will probably end up as our best post ronaldo attacker.

Quality all round.
Are you serious? We could have gone down 3-1 by half time. Ireland was unmarked twice plus a typical Crouch fiasco. I saw Mourinho rushed out and he had probably addressed the hole as we don't see Ireland having much chances particularly in the 2nd half. Still got more work to do.

It’s painful listening to Owen and Hargreaves. It’s as though they didn’t even watch the match. Really poor punditry.

Overall, a very good game. Pogba was just brilliant. Very few complaints. It would have been nice to bury a couple more, but there were plenty of good things to build on. Total control in the second half.

Anyone know who was the co-commentator alongside Clive Tyldesley? They were actually good for once.
