These two have always been two prominent players for our two rivals and I always used to wonder who is better, but never dwelled too much. Now, considering, Sanchez is about to join united, I think comparing these two could be interesting from united perspectives.

What you all think, Sanchez or hazard, who is better according to each of you and why? Poll would be a welcome.

Ps. didn't know whether to put this in United forum or football forum. Just chose the latter as I though of having views of our rival fans too.

Similar level imo. Hazard edges it when he's at his best, generally I'd take Sanchez though.

Hazard is better dribbler and play maker, Sanchez has much better end product.

For me Hazard was the best player in the league last season but Sanchez record was awesome too.

I thought Hazard two weeks ago but in the last two weeks Sanchez has really proven himself to be the better player.

Now that Sanchez is a United player no doubt the Caf will massively under rate him and say Hazard is miles better.

Hazard is the better player but I think both are slightly overrated - both very good though.

It's a bit like that Mata v Silva comparison 3/4 years ago, one has the better output while the other is unquestionably the better player

I'd say Hazard for me though it annoys me he doesn't want to take his ability to the next level

What a strange thing to say after Hazard's MOTM performance on saturday. If he plays like that every week, he's the best player in the league imo. Luckily he doesn't.

What do the stats over past 5/6 years please ?

Im leaning to Sanchez in terms of productiviity and consistency but Hazard in terms of individual dribbling/ moments of brilliance. Maybe I haven’t watched enough of Sanchez!

Both very special, Hazard is younger and that’s why he is the one. Sanchez is a better match-winner though - Hazard seems to disappear sometimes.

How are they overrated? One player led his team to 2 league titles in 3 years and other one scored 80 goals from wide attacking position in 3.5 years. If someone says they are as good as Messi then yes, they are overrated but they are in next tier.

Hazard is a better playmaker. Sanchez is a better goalscorer. Both are good vice versa as well, but it's an apple and an orange.

I'd love Hazard right now, but for what we need and what we're lacking, Sanchez is a better fit.

Anyone but Rashford
Hazard.

I love Sanchez and there’s certainly things he does better – Work rate, finishing, heading etc. and you could argue he imposes himself of games more but Hazard is a class apart when it comes to pure technical ability. Only Silva and Ozil compare to him in that regard and of course Hazard can take it to another level with his speed and agility. He’s one of the best players in the world right now and probably the most infuriating player to play against in the league.

I thought Hazard two weeks ago but in the last two weeks Sanchez has really proven himself to be the better player.

Stats for comparison, because everyone loves stats (Premier League only):

Hazard
Appearances: 194
Goals: 65
Assists: 37

Sanchez
Appearances: 122
Goals: 60
Assists: 25

I'd say Hazard is better to be honest, but Sanchez seems to have a better end product.

They are a bit overrated don't you think? I wouldn't say either are world class players - both very good though. Hazard has the potential to be world class but hasn't made the step up imo (at least not yet).

Depends how you look at them. Alexis works harder and is a better goalscorer. Hazard a better playmaker and dribbler. Because of his age Hazard will be the better player over the next 4-5 years but I think Alexis is a better fit for the current United team. Think Pogba+Alexis complement each other better than Pogba+Hazard would.

How are they not World class? They're amongst the best in the World in their positions.

That's just my opinion - though in all honesty I don't think there are many truely world class players playing in the premiership currently.

Only League stats:

Sanchez: 60 goals + 25 assists in 3.5 seasons (9131 mins)- 107 mins per G+A
Hazard: 65 goals + 38 assists in 5.5 seasons (15463 mins) - 150 mins per G+A

Also Hazard scored 13 penalties, Sanchez score 3.

I agree with you on that point, but I'd say Hazard and Sanchez are one of a very small number of players who are.

Not sure what criteria you have for world class, Sanchez is world class player for me, so is Hazard.

hard to compare due to age but for me Hazard is more of a team player, Sanchez plays as more of an individual

Hazard is very much overrated in my mind, his Champions League record s very poor for a supposed top class player, Sanchez is miles better.

Both are very good players. Hazard is younger, but Sanchez is more consistent. Since their both attackers I'd consider Sanchez to be the better player because he gets more goals and assists.

Sanchez. for me, and I think for the spanish clubs and why he hasnt got a move yet, Hazard lacks end product.

Haven't watched enough of Sanchez to be honest. But Hazard is a gorgeous player to watch play, gutted we couldn't get him.

Can someone list down their strengths and weaknesses (perceived)?

Both similar level imo, but I prefer Sanchez because of his terrier like work rate which makes him more versatile.

I think Hazard on his day, but Sanchez turns up a lot more than Hazard does.

I was surprised to see that Sanchez is only two years older. My instinct was Hazard but ultimately it's the end product that counts. I feel Hazard hasn't quite achieved his potential whereas Sanchez makes the most of what he has. So based on the stats I'm going Sanchez.
