Why on earth can Liverpool not win one more game, when they've managed to get past some top competition already, and have already shown they can smash teams when they get at it.

Honestly, based on little, my suspicion is Liverpool will have a good but fruitless 20 minutes, Real will score and Liverpool will lose all their confidence and sod all will happen until they're caught on the break.

Hope so. I've seen a lot of people including United fans saying they hope its a thriller and Madrid win it. Personally I don't want that at all. I hope it's a dull lifeless affair and Madrid win as comfortably as possible. If Madrid win 5-4 or something Liverpool fans would still be unbearable to listen to about how they took part in an incredible final and how exciting they made they game. I'd love to see Madrid smash the cnuts 4 or 5 nil. But saying that, I'd take any Madrid win at all right now.

I have been really annoyed with United's lipstick on a pig football, despite trying to accept that it's getting results at least (not enough of the ones that matter in the end...fa cough cup). After a season of winning nothing I do rather wish it had at least been more entertaining. I want both in the end, winning w good football.

This is a false choice. Defensive, park the bus football is no guarantee of beating Liverpool. Especially when it neuters the strength of your own team trying to park the bus.
