That’s a damaging result - being unable to beat at home our main rival for second place in the group puts us in a difficult position. Europa League looking likelier.

For all the talk of Pogba and Mourinho being at loggerheads, he was the one actually trying to win the game for me. Terrible performance and Lukaku showed why he doesn’t get chances. An empty shirt would’ve contributed as much.

Pathetic, boring, embarrasing and a complete waste of time.

Backed Jose for this long but it's time to admit he's not what we want or need right now. He's improved the squad since he came in. Now let a new manager get more outtve the squad.

Criminal refusal to rotate Lukaku. It's cringey to watch him at the moment. Manager and players terribly uninspiring.

Plus ca change. Soporific football, Mourinho will be happy though, nullified Valencia and got a draw.
I wonder who will be ridiculed in his post-match comments tonight, Sanchez probably.

Second half was a lot better. Terrible finishing and terrible corners, our throw-ins were more dangerous than Rashford's corners.

Sanchez is a Di Maria level flop.

Rashford really shouldn't take corners, worse than Jones. And 3 minutes of stoppage time was just ridiculous. The game really needs to stop with the rolling time.

Sanchez tried. Lost his mojo - isn’t playing on instinct.

Lukaku has forgotten how to play football. He looks a lost cause.

Midfield shite - stop playing Fellaini.

Supported Mourinho up until last week but lost all faith in him now. We need a shake up and some new ideas.

The overall quality as a team trying to score a goal is well below par. Spirit, attitude, etc. was a lot better but still too disjointed and nothing that really threatened Valencia's goal.

Average players all round. Poor touches, passes and just not good movement. Hoofing the ball to Lukaku and hoping for something.

Lukaku and Rashford so shit on the ball.

We were so boring to watch the entire game.

I am surprised crowd is still showing up in stadium to watch our game.

A few positives:

1. Shaw was pretty good.
2. Bailly was alright after that first injury
3. Sanchez actually looked better on the right wing compared to left, still pretty bad though.

Mou will get a stay of execution, maybe the axe will drop when Newcastle play United off the pitch Saturday at OT

Lukaku isn't the brightest player in the world.

Fellaini didn't have a good game, Matic too.

Rashford needs to grow up, still looks like a kid about to cry at every challenge.

Pogba was good.

Smalling cemented as our best defender, Bailly a nutcase but fought at least.

Valencia is done at this level, there was nothing for Sanchez on that side.

Shaw was good.

Please take Rashford off corner duties, give them to Shaw.

Set piece basics: Inswinging corner, block the keeper off. Don't give him free reign of his 6 yard box. What do these guys even do in training? They finally stumble on the right answer with the 2 corners Shaw took, who delivered outswingers. Then Rashford pisses our last chance by floating it straight to the keeper, again.

Surely that's it, right? There's no direction or purpose, no sign it is going to get better, a massive dark cloud of pessimism hanging over the club. It has to end.

Very poor in attack as ever, Matic had a shocker, plusses were that Bailly and Shaw were very good and we got the clean sheet. Pogba was, as so often, 90% very good too.

Very pleased to see Sanchez being played on the right though, hope it continues.

Well done Ed, what a great product you have created. Bet this is really securing our financial legacy, with the punters and corporations lining up in their millions for this utter tumescent rubish

Oh and Jose, you talk about respect and legacy a lot. Where is the respect for the legacy of the club with these dire performances? He tolerated utter rubish again - as an example, why wasn't Lukkaku subbed for that awful display?

We have a CEO who can't see that we are turning into a dire football brand and a manager who allowing poor standards to thrive. The club is in trouble

I fell asleep for most of the first half. That says it all. Horrendous.

Honestly I'd be persisting with Pereira. He has the ability to pass which automatically means he should start in the team now and again.

It's frustrating to see that we lose the midfield battle in every single match. All teams have better movement, playmakers and pace in their midfield. Kondogbia was bossing the midfield, today.

Mourinho's style isn't our only probablem. Our squad is severly lacking in quality, and our only world class player is De Gea (even though Pogba might be on in a functioning system).

Players actually tried tonight, and the line-up was one of the strongest we could have put out on paper. We just look completely devoid of ideas going forward, no sense that anything useful is being practiced in training to be implemented on match day.

Bailly should partner Smalling.

Rashford should never ever, under any circumstance ever take a fecking corner in his life. Ever. Again.

Valencia is done. Dusted. Should be made third option as right back behind Young and Dalot.

Matić and Fellaini are terrible. Static. Slow.
My god it was so wrong on so many levels and i am mindboggled why Jose doesnt see it.
You have Perreira,Fred and Herera who offer so much more movement its just dumb not to use at least one of them.

Pogba, meh, tired of explaining to myself and others that he just isnt all that we hoped.

Lukaku and Sanchez. No words.

Looong season in front of us. Brace yourselves.

Valencia would have won if they had any quality up front.

Pretty obvious it's coming to an end with Jose and Manchester United. I suspect he could be gone before the next international break. Don't really have much more to add to the conversation, we're absolutely shite.
