There are no strings on me ...
First time in a long while, the performance was enjoyable and fruitful as well.

Dalot looks like a talent. Love his forward runs and positive deliveries in the box. Happy that Young got the goal. That's what happens when you give freedom to attack for your fullbacks.

Matic and Herrera look solid. Herrera and Lingard are the ones taking initiative to press fulham. Rashford & Mata look positive. They are being productive

Lukaku finally got a goal. Hopefully he can kick on.

First time in ages, I felt like all 11 players played well. But, it could be a false positive. Afterall, it's Fulham
Yeah, that's not happening. Fulham are the shittiest side in the league. Anyone can score a frigging tap in. It's not a confidence issue with him, it's an issue of lack of ability and quality.

What about the rest of the fecking games in the last 3 years where we have looked terrible without pogba?

How does 1 half change history?
He's the preferred scapegoat of the moment so don't bring up facts to get in the way of the agenda

We should try Fred-Herrera pairing combo at some game instead of Matic. Keep Pogba out or play him as a number 10. We finally look like we have an actual midfield without him there. Him and Fellaini are terrible midfielders and only good up front.

Dalot looks every bit and more what we need on that flank, even if it is only Fulham, very promising signs.

To think you had people writing him off on wednesday

Possibly best half of the season. Amazing what two full backs who are commited to getting forward can do the side. We’ve known for ages that Mata only has a prayer on the right if he has someone overlapping the flank and Dalot has done that superbly today. Young has been excellent on the left, and both Mata and Rashford have stood out too. Keep the same balance second half with attacking football without unnecessary risks.

If he could stay fit he’d be comfortably our best defender. He’s way above Lindelof and the like.
Too bad he cant stay fit... He is a good defender for 15/20 games a season, a few games he will make some stupid mistakes and the other games he will be injured. Hopefully he will be replaced in the summer

Thats a straw man fallacy. I said we are better without him.
You cited the games against Palace and Sotn, games in which he played and we failed to win, as evidence that we are better without him. But I repeat, Fulham are awful and there is no guarantee we would have won those games had he not played.

We are not known for lazy flash, or flash without product. We have been looking for players with flash and no substance.
Well there was of course that statistic about Pogba being involved in more goals than anyone else in the team, but let's avoid the facts...

It's good we are winning. But it is Fulham at O.T so anything rather than that is totally not acceptable. Second I can not be such happy looking at our position and looking at our GD and so many other things. So a win is good yes but Jose can not stay here any longer.

The Jose Out will have to accept there is light at the end of the tunnel. Two back to back positive performances and an excellent result at Anfield will put us back in Champions league contention. Jose realising Pogba slowing down our game is having a bad effect on the way the team move the ball and thus bench him and our midfield suddenly look lively.

    Long it continue.

No one can deny that we've played pretty well, and it's no surprise that we have improved with more attacking license from full backs, a higher defensive line and more pressing. It;s hardly rocket science but it's nice to see us do it for a change.

None of this vindicates anything Mourinho has done or his presence at the club, along with a few of the players. If we are stuck with him, I hope he sees sense and plays this way more often - we have the players.

Nice and easy for probably just the 2nd time this season (Burnley). Rashford has been class IMO, hope he gets a goal to show for it too. Mata and Herrera have been very good as well. Would be nice to push on in the second instead of what usually happens when we have a good first half.

Has to be said though, Fulham are woeful.

This attitude is great. Feck off if you happen to think the club is grossly, almost criminally, squandering all of its resources and taking the fans support for granted.
Yeah because claiming you wont watch another game this season is a much better attitude.

You're really trying to make a deal of it?
I don't even know what do you mean by Top red shite so stop with those smug posts about being an United fan from abroad.
You were the one who started with the ‘don’t watch the club will survive’ nonsense. I was spending a fortune supporting Utd and have stopped now. If more people like me are doing the same, which I imagine is likely, then our club will take a hit financially somewhere still down the line.

It’s people acting like Top Reds because they refuse to miss a match on their free illegal streams that get my back up.

When was the last time United scored three in the first half of any game. Certainly not in the last year.

Quick passing, no dwelling on the ball. Fulham have sat deep and invited pressure but uncharacteristically we've capitalised on it. Team seems cohesive and players playing for each other. Dalot been great going forward too. Very nice half, albeit against a pretty terrible side.
Well that’s good. This is how we should be playing against this sort of team.

Yeah, I was one of them.

He was shockingly poor from a defensive standpoint against Arsenal, his positioning was terrible. Fulham hasn't put him under any pressure whatsoever in that regard.

I’ve spent more than you have in flights alone supporting Utd over the last few years so don’t start the Top Red shite with me just because you’ve found an illegal stream to watch us on.
What that has to do with his reply, dont start with that shit in match day thread.
