The one thing that pleases you most since Ole took over

For the first time in long time it looks like we actually have a plan when moving forward

Instead of checking the result online after the match is over, I am actually wearing the jersey and cheering the team.

Football not only for players but fans alike is meant to be enjoyable, something you look forward to to take your mind off everything else that’s happening in the world and Ole has managed to give that gift to the players and us at home which to me makes me proud to be a united supporter.

Two things: fast players are able to run, good passers are able to pass.

Happy new year ladies and gents

The freedom to take risks, yet dominating possession. We win the ball back really well too.

I love how he talks about the players. I hope it rubs off on the Caf as it’s still pretty toxic on many player threads.

Such a refreshing change, pressers are a bit like Van Gaal but with actually entertaining football on the pitch...

It is such a huge weight off the shoulders to be able to watch the team play and not constantly think that we're wasting nearly every player's talent to produce garbage on the pitch. To not think of the fact that we spent £400 mil to produce some of the worst football in the league and make top players look complete rubbish.

OGS banging on about how good the players are and how top class the squad is. Night and day from Mourinho spending nearly half a billion and still bleating on about what he hasn't got.

This. Was such a breath of fresh air and I've seen this type of man management always works. Look at Klopp, Pep and others - they feed the egos of the players of today and keep them motivated and happy.
SAF used to call Cristiano the best player in the world long before he actually was.

Don't know what Mourinho was attempting with "There are many players in Sevilla who would play direct in my team" sorts of BS. What a glass half empty person. Any other manager would have shut up and worked with what he got. Instead we got to hear stuff like "Respect.", "3 times", and finishing 2nd is my biggest achievement. Imagine how that would feel to the players, a manager who won CL with a poor squad of Inter fecking milan and Porto calling finishing 2nd (19 points behind and closer to 5th) his biggest achievement.

A defeatist clown. A specialist in failure. Feels so stupid I supported him up until that Sevilla press conference.

For me it's about how the Premier League plays football. Influential clubs like United affect how the rest of the League play football and when they playing on the front foot other clubs adjust their game.

Just the overall positive atmosphere. The manager, the players and the fans are atlast content with their team and are just enjoying the games.

More seriously, the players are clearly enjoying themselves which is the all point of a game. They enjoy themselves and we enjoy watching them, the rest isn't that important.
I think this is a point that often get overlooked. Showmanship is an important aspect of this game, the crowd feeds off the players and vice versa, give and take. If the players don’t bring good football, crowd will be dead and the vicious cycle continues.

On topic, the thing I’m most pleased with is us trying to keep it on the ground as much as possible. There’s a sequence in the Huddersfield game when they pressed us close to goal for more than 5 minutes and none of ours boot it long, including the keeper. The possession stat speaks for itself but more importantly it’s the mentality, not just hit and hope.

Good observation. Herrera in particular I feel is showcasing how well rounded he is as a midfielder in this particular setup looking as good as he did in his Atletic Bilbao days when we all purred over his highlight reel. Matic and Pogba I think most would not deny their obvious quality but Herrera has a lot of doubters. So great to see him playing a role that helps him shine.

Ander's been hard done by over the course of his time with us.

He'd have been a mainstay of Ferguson's teams.

Veni, vini, veci. Credit where credit is due. Stop saying he got an easy job or he's just here to cheer everyone up. Everyone put in real work and its paying off.

Pace. More running, faster counters, one touch passing, a zip to our play, getting the ball forward in wide positions.

The word " cowards " is not there any more.
We start games positive and attack fearless and more more desire to win. Should be enough.

It feels like united again: attacking football, great to watch, pressing, focusing on the games and not the negative press circus around the club, and most of all looking forward to games and enjoying the football.

Fearless and Relentless - in passing, taking on defenders, pressing and tackling - there's so much optimism and positivity in all of it.

Combine that with the skill level of our attacking players and it makes one want to see a football match.

The players actually looking like they want to win. Faster attacking football and not passing the ball to death in every attack. Maybe Ole has been able to make them understand who they are actually playing for, Manchester United FC.

One of the big changes apart from what has been previously mentioned is that during all the players interviews they keep talking about playing the United way. This is exactly the way it should be. The last 3 managers came in and looked to bring in their own football philosophy. Any manager that gets the United job should be able have his team playing the United way. The last 3 spoofers should never have got the job. OGS understands what is required, that's what make him special.

Attacking movement is causing killer passes.

It pleases me that all the players mourinho condemned are the stars of the team now and mourinho have to sit down and realize how wrong he was...

  • Old Trafford is louder,
  • The manager hugs his assistant and coaches after each goal - I think,
  • Pogba urges the team to press when we lose the ball
  • Match commentators actually enjoying our games and giving praise
  • Players trying tricks that entertain and are effective
  • Perreira getting minutes
  • Pogba, Lingard, Martial, Herrera, Rashford have all scored and assisted in 3 games
  • Fans oohing and aahing.

I'm getting nervous again in the time leading up to a game. I wasn't bothered before. Says It all.

Noticed one thing that says a lot..after seeing Rashford’s goal from his assist, Martial pumped his fits in sheer emotions. That feeling was actually from everyone who was watching that game. And that feeling was gone after the great man retired..

It feels like united again: attacking football, great to watch, pressing, focusing on the games and not the negative press circus around the club, and most of all looking forward to games and enjoying the football.
This is also the biggest difference for me. The players are proud to play for United and they play a football worthy of the club. I really hope they dare to play like this against the top clubs, because the players are good enough to do it imo.

There are so many things that i am pleased with, but i think playing attacking, attractive and appealing football like the Manchester United we fell in love with is what i am pleased with the most. I know we shouldnt get carried away but these are games we would have drawn or lost if Jose was in charge. We didnt only win but we dominated and crushed the opponents with the players enjoying themselves. I am also happy with how OGS has conducted himself without taking the shine off the players and seeing himself not only as the manager but also as a fan. Even though we still need some improvements and signings, i am impressed with what i have seen so far. I hope we can bring in exciting prospects from the academy instead of going on another spending spree. We have a number of talents in the academy and with proper guidance and management, they could excel in the first team.

Aside from the multiple of obvious factors like the massively improved style of football/getting back to the United Way and the players/fans being miles happier and optimistic and the fact we have one of our all time legends (who is also a very bright and thoroughly decent bloke) in charge here are mine:

1. The ABUs in both punditry and real life betraying their die hard ABU status by dismissing our results under Ole thus far due to the opposition being weak or focusing on the “disgraceful” behaviour of the players downing tools under Mou. It’s tragic but hilarious.

2. Our defenders are gradually stopping doing that stupid hands behind the back thing whenever an opposition player has the ball on the edge of the box - no idea why Mourinho gets all his teams to do this and why it gets under my skin so much...

3. Seeing Carrick and McKenna actually speak and interact with our manager rather than stare despairingly into the distance for like they’re on death row

Happy New Year everyone.
