Superb. Barring a tricky little ten minutes where we disrespected the ball and let them get at us a bit we've controlled this with some very dangerous attacking play. The penalty was a stonewaller, and indicative of how useful Pogba can be when he's given licence to maraud into the box, and Rashford's goal was lovely.

    I love watching this team.

    Pen Incident - 1:0 Pogba

    2:0 Rashford

Bonus - Lindelof long pass - chance for Martial

Decent half. Looked good until the penalty and then Brighton took over for quite a while and we couldn't get out of our half. But then we get that chance and Rashford scores a brilliant goal. Hope we can get a quick third in the second half and kill it off completely.

Rashford studies the game, and its very obvious sometimes.

I've seen that goal dozens of times, Ronaldo has done it for us and every team he played for. The chop back to create space and top corner finish.

    Its no accident.

Not best half from us but quality shining through. Sanchez and Periera on at half time now hopefully
As much as we want it, we can't play stunning football all the time. The good thing is that we are winning despite that. I will call that a good sign.

Playing some beautiful football. There’s a confidence and arrogance about how we’re starting to play as a team. Rashford is phenomenal.

As I side note, I love how vocal Phelan is on the touch line. I can’t really recall anyone in Mourinho’s tenure being as demanding - it’s great to see/hear.

I was going to say the same thing. He has the ability to do it so why does he not do it more often? He was poor in the first half. We need an upgrade on him. I have been disappointed with Matic and Young today. Below par.
You're exaggerating imo, that one moment where Matić gave away the ball after a throw-in, he wasn't bad at all. It's OK dude, dark times are behind us, we can enjoy the performance without pointing the fingers at anyone.

Martial struggling today. Big fan of his but I can see why some of his detractors are quick to jump on him today, his effort level isn't quite matching the intensity of Rashford and Pogba. Needs to get fitter.
Almost scored an incredible goal after a sublime pass from Lindelof where he displayed a world class first touch with a defender on his back. Great save by the keeper. He's not done badly. The only thing we're struggling with is their aerial threat and they look for corners and free kicks repeatedly. Second goal was hugely important.

    Anyone but Rashford
Martial and Lingard have been poor - Their movement has been good though.

We haven't been great. Thankfully Brighton have an awful open play end product because we've left openings. Both full backs look vulnerable.

Rashford and Pogba have just gone to another level under Ole. Both look capable of doing something with every touch.

He was really close to scoring but as long as we're attacking well as a team it's fine. More chances will come.

Guys, anyone with beINSPORT link for next game, please PM me, would love to watch Jose talking about structure, specially if we score 2,3,4,5 more.
Would love host to ask him about our run as well, but think they don't have cojones to do that.

Good half. They've been hard to break down at times, so 2-0 at half time is a good scoreline. Very nice goal by Rashford. Pobga looking very lively too. Keep it going in the second half and get a few more goals.

As an aside, Murray is an annoying fecker on the pitch.

The way Rashford is playing, he may just be as good as Ronaldo. Age is on his side.

Dalot has been a revelation on the left back. He should continue in that position. Give him a run and see how he copes defensively. It is worth it as he offers way more than Shaw ever will offensively. It is better to have him on the left, he'll have better players to communicate with on the left going forward. Right side is still a bit open and needs more experience.

Rashford was one of the most players I was dislike under Jose. Now look, he is one of our best.

Well atm you can say its even. Lets not forget Martial's purple patch under Mourinho. Rashers is now one goal behind Martial.
Yeah, Martial has had a good spell this season. He almost single handedly kept Jose on the job for some weeks. But Rashford has been very good for sometime soon. I think he has been brilliant since Jose benched Lukaku. I am just a massive fan of the kid. I hope he fulfills his huge potential.
