I agree with this.

After you mentioned that I went to see if Jogo mentioned that and on their cover they didn't mentioned any club in particular but as I predicted this is just to prepare the end of the season.

They said he is valued on 35 million euros to leave. As usual Sporting forum on self implode mode, but forgetting United aside, I don't want to see anymore players here against their wish because the club wants to do a great business.

If the fee is reasonable sell and move on because we all know how it went when BDC tried to keep the players too long. His intentions were good but honestly the attack on the Academy was the biggest scam used by everyone to leave. And I am going to stop here.
They say he came back as well with a clause saying he can leave for 35M..... That better not be true.

If the board was smart they sell Dost, Acuna, other players with value and all of the dead wood. Use that to make Bruno the highest paid player in the squad and then build a team of young and experienced players around him. Hopefully keep him for 1 more year or so. Porto and Benfica are always to squeeze out 1 or 2 more years out of their best players and we need to learn to do the same.

I agree with what you said though players like William over stayed and should have been sold earlier.

Checked out his highlights and would be good for squad depth and could also play beside Pogba

Also saw an article stating we could get him at a cut price if its true then he would be a cheaper option to Ruben Neves

I really want him to be Pogba’s back-up. I don’t think we’ll be able to find anyone more suitable considering quality, age, and cost.

Nice assist
Him and Felix are the hottest properties in the Portuguese league that Would make an impact on your team. 2 assists already ameno reckon he can get to the 30 20 mark in terms of goals and assist which would be absurd.

Would be a really good signing tbh this team desperately needs a quality creator other than Pogba

Imagine Burno and Pogba playing together in midfield with a great production of goal and assist, that midfield could outscore any other club in the league. Scary

Portuguese Depay, for my money. Very eye-catching with that ridiculously good shot from distance, but seems to excel against the weaker quality in the Primeira Liga whereas he struggled to score many against the more serious Serie A defences.

Also, once again, not a RW so we shouldn't be bothering.

We need a bit more depth in the creative side of our midfield. Obviously a right winger is a priority, but we can buy multiple players.

We need more options for CM. He is decent as a number 8, good passing and shooting and exceptional stamina. It would be stupid not to sign him imo.

His best position is as a somewhat 10 more close to the forwards and that role can be done by Pogba, honestly can’t see him being able to do the Herrera role.

Tbh don’t think he is unable to play on the same team as a Pogba another thing is if he has enough to play consistently for a top team on a top league.

Don’t know.

To put it simply I don’t believe United wants him, now it’s almost certain he is going to leave, the only good player we have above the average on a joke atmosphere.

I don't think we need more options, we need more quality. We have 6 players for 3 positions, which is a lot, and much depends on how the management perceives these options. Fred and Pereira are in perilous state and could not be here next season. But if the manager believes they are worth persevering with then adding another CM looks very unlikely. Especially since we have very clear needs for a RB and a RW which would likely take the bulk of the transfer budget.

He was very young at Udinese and Samp and was playing for poor sides where he did not find his position or role yet. At Sporting and especially under JJ he really developed and elevated his game.

I think he can slot right in at United. I just don't think he is a necessity for them which is why I don't think it will happen.

I can also see him going back to Serie A. AC Milan is a good option too.

Would be great for depth but would bring into question the future of Fred and Andreas

There are faults on both sides must be said but regarding this topic the only thing I know is that he probably won’t stay here.

Fred and Andreas are not United quality.
Think you’re being harsh. Maybe Andreas is still not good enough to start but he has already shown qualities to be a squad player, Fred needs one more season to see if he can step up a bit like Lindelof.

Andreas never impressed me and Fred I think is good for a team like Spurs.

We have 3 CMs who are good enough. 2 of those are over 30. He's using the others now out of sheer necessity because there is literally no other option. There is zero chance he doesn't buy a CM this Summer.

Starting quality? You're right but they're more than fine for depth (which is what Fernandes would be if we brought him)
Fred MAYBE but not Andreas he is not that good I mean he had 15 minutes where he lifted his game last game but that's as far as it goes.

What's the deal with Fernandes? Good enough for United and where do you see him slotting in?
As a #10 playing behind the striker possibly constantly switching positions with Pogba in game.

I like his intensity on the ball, but I expect this is agent play.
More so the fact that Sporting are in a bad financial situation and I suspect he leaves for a cut price as well because of the people who run the club.

I’m still not sure if he’s great or if he’s just good but everyone else on the team is so shit that it makes him look better.

What this about him being available for 35m euros? I thought his release clause was 100m?

He showed last year how great he was and this season he managed to elevate himself to a even higher level. When you are on course to have a 30 20 season that is absolutely incredible .

So it's not going to be Fernandes and Felix, more one or the other of it's true that we want Felix.
United will not get Felix this summer. I have no doubt about that. Benfica don't need to sell and Felix does not want to leave he has only been a professional for a few months. Also Benfica will accept nothing short of top dollar for him. Where as Sporting are would sell their best players for a pack of gum.

Benfica have always seemed like a club willing to sell for the right money. Given the names linked, it will be big money so it's a possibility.
