I wonder if Ramos would have made any difference, on the other hand he's probably glad he didn't play tonight.

Real manager looks like someone put Paul Rudd in charge of a football team. Looks equally as clueless.

So Spurs with the "we put the pressure on the Champions League" trophy?

Meanwhile, Real are finally finished. They can start their overhaul now.

How are players like Nacho getting games for Madrid? Their squad needs a major overhaul.

It's good to see how far Ajax's young team have progressed since we beat them in the EL. An excellent example of how you don't just have to spend obscene amounts of money to build a good team

Better than the 'we overturned the deficit against BATE' trophy though, isn't it?

Which part timers are Arsenal going to lose to next? Find out next episode!

Atletico are now favourites to win it IMO. If it weren't for Madrid, they'd have won it already, as they're tailor made for this competition. Madrid were as opportunistic as them, but simply had more quality and luck on their side.

Juventus are also that kind of team, but there's a sense of them being lulled into complacency by domestic superiority, and lacking that spark to make it count at the very end, when it really matters.

City are playing the best football in Europe, but teams like them don't thrive in this competition. Guardiola's Barcelona played probably the most dominant football ever, and just managed to win 2/4.

Barcelona have become more cynical these days, but they're never be true experts at winning ugly, and that's what cups are all about. Can also see Liverpool winning it if they manage to get past Bayern.

But maybe it's time for an unlikely winner and the end of an apparent predictability of latter years. I guess that's the charm of this competition.

Spurs playing boring football is happening more often than not this season.
Spurs 4 - Dortmund 0 over two legs. Dortmund have averaged well over 3 goals per games in recent times. They got none over 2 games against Spurs.

If that's boring, then bring it on.
