Watching him on the touchline while the result was 1-1 gave me full Moyes vibe.

He's clueless and doesn't know what to do to solve the mess. He doesn't appear to have a single clue in the games.

Another manager we look like we got it wrong with him again.

Yep...we are basically back to square one as if Ole just took over. He needs to seriously clean house and remove all the dead wood and replenish with proper United players.
Given the lack of bang for the buck we've gotten on our transfers the past 6 years or so, how much confidence do you have that we'll A. remove all the dead wood and/or B. replenish with "proper United players."

I really do hope ole resign now. He is really out of his depth seriously. No choice if Utd have to be great again. Along with all the 11 outfield players

Don't understand why we were in such a hurry to tie him up. It's not like he'd pick Molde over us. If he was still the interim coach, you would at least ask Poch by now before even considering Ole.

Don't think we should sack him and continue the carousel but I'm struggling to really believe in him.

What really pisses me off is he actually keeps saying he has a great bunch of players. They're so bad they don't even deserve a media lie to protect them.
No, it was a lie told by Jose that these players are bad. They are bunch of wonderfull world class players, remember. All Ole need is just smile and hugs those players. ;)

He's so fortunate. He's a club legend who knows all the right soundbites to give and he's inherited such a terrible squad that the players will take the majority of the blame but really he isn't good enough for where you want to be at either. Even when you were winning and he was a genius the signs were there. The Spurs game, for example, all second half they destroyed you and DDG saved it from being a cricket score. He sat there the whole time, watched it happen and didn't change anything.

Ole will be manager next season, but I still believe he won't make it past 2019. He'll be fired.

I can't blame him for this game. I mean, to beat 20th team in PL which also have new manager, you need pre season and one or two transfer windows. :wenger:

What did you do Ed, ffs? With Ole we will fight with Wolves and Everton for 6th place next year. We started with title race thread, then there was top 4 race thread and for next year we will need EL race thread
I honestly think we’ll struggle to even compete at that level.

High five and hugs for Rashford at the final whistle? Farce, should be waiting for him inside the dressing room to tear strips off him, the useless git.

How much of this catching up towards the top 4 has been because of us and how much because of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs being as shit as us? Arsenal had that good run in the first half of the season which kept them high in the table.

He needs to pick a system and stick to it. No consistent gameplan. I have no idea what to expect. We’ve got him so I say give him a preseason but he has to ease up on the tactics

Judge him next season, not this season. He got lot of homework to do off the pitch in the summer to think what system he wants to play, players that he wants to sign & players that he needs to replace.

I've lost faith in him to be honest. I hope he turns it around, I really do, but surely this can't all be down to the players.

Does he have what it takes to get a result when a team is at it's bare bones, know they rubbish and lack confidence?

I don't think so

He may well be out of his depth here, I can't see a summer transfer and a pre-season changing that.

Should just resign. No idea how to use the players at his disposal.

No style, no pattern and no conviction.

Unfortunately, it is so clear now that OGS is all sound bite and no substance. All he has is good PR which is not unfortunately not enough to be manager of Manchester United. Please put him out of his misery

the players have something to do with it but Ole has not shown me anything to suggest he has what it takes.

Or you're expecting miracles from a team that are playing at their level
Looking at your posts so far in this thread, it comes across that no matter how bad Ole performs with the team you'll seem unwilling to give him any share of the blame.

At what point do we accept the players are shite but also that Solskjaer is a problem too?

then we should either fire him now or not fire him next year. it is hard for people o this forum to accept since they backed all of the sackings we have made so far and also backed all the signings we made so far, but having someone sign a heap of players and then sacking them is the sole reason we are where we are

The squad is a shambles but Ole's tactics have been dire too. I don't want to say that we need to spend money because we've already done that and it's not aways worked but we need the players. Ole should have a transfer window to get the players we need.

Problem is, he won't. I don't think he plans to dismantle this squad completely. It would be a pleasant surprise if he did, but the lack of recruitment and structure points more towards 4 players in at best. It won't do anything material.
Time will tell. If we don't address the squad as a whole, we may find ourselves in the same ditch next year.

We’re 9 points further away from the top of league since he took over.

Looks like rabbit in the headlights, never going to inspire this team. He’ll have us as relegation fodder next season.

Fecking joke of an appointment.

We are just getting worse and worse. See nothing to suggest we will turn it around. Hopefully he nail his signings, but I don't have faith in that.

Even Poch wouldn't touch this team now. Wish I can fast forward the next 5 years. Depression football continues

In fairness, that Spurs game - Poch said that that was the best he had ever seen Spurs play. They were a machine in that 2nd half. They had us pinned in our own half and it was like seeing a EPL team play a team from League 2 or even a pub team. They absolutely dominated us.
But in saying all of that, it was just one match.
What I am more worried about is that we have won only 2 games out of our last 11 (I think).

This is it. Why the feck didnt we just wait. Its not as if we've sorted any player contracts out since March. There was literally no reason to make this decision.
