Arsenal thought they'd just had to turn up to the EL final and win it to save their season.

They've been trash for most of the year and still poor away from home!

Arsenal would'v probably beaten Frankfurt comfortably.

Chelsea is a bad match up for them, just mentally stronger in these occasions.

I dont think Chelsea is very good but having that one world class attacker does make a huge difference.

If Hazard leaves and Chelsea isnt allowed to buy, they will struggle next season i think.
They'll bet on Pulisic to replace him but they're going to suffer for 1 or 2 years before he makes the same impact as Hazard I believe.

He is far from Hazards level. They need to improve other areas like getting a top class central striker in.

How'd you explain them winning the FA Cup two years ago?

These kind of matches the first goal is most important. Arsenal crumbled yet if they'd scored they may have won.

Poor Hazard. Last game for Chelsea but only 8000 Chelsea fans to applaud him off. I would rather have stayed on the pitch and try to score a third goal.

Interesting times in league, Chelsea been good tonight no dispute but they were very underwhelming for much of second half of the season and losing Hazard is obviously huge problem.

Can see Arsenal finishing 7th or 8th. Few more dropped points at home and that could easily happen.

Think the top 6 will be shaken up a bit next season, Man. United on probation aswell.

You have to admire Emery’s belief and attitude. They got humiliated and the tie is over, yet he is still instructing his players like a madman.

It is because they didn’t use Welbeck they lost.

It does show how much of a difference one world class attacker can make. If United could find a world class RW to replace Lingard it would make such a huge difference.

I like Pulisic and even I'd say 1 or 2 years is a generous estimation for him to reach Hazard's impact there. He'd have to really kick on in his development to ever be at that level, though I do think he's a really good player with a lot of room to grow.

Auba miskicking for Lacazette to play off Willock for a goal kick sums up Arsenal in final third tonight. Simply haven't turned up.

Yep. Put hazard in our current team and we’d have been 3rd no problem

Arsenal do well in FA cup but they did win finals v likes of us and Hull.

For a major club they underwhelm in european competition year in year out.

It was so boring in the first half I ended up cleaning the dishwasher. Came back at 3-0 and after Arsenal scores thought it would be a grandstand finish. Auba was pathetic on Chelsea’s 4th, lost the ball and didn’t even try to win it back, in a final at such a crucial moment! He’s bloody rapid too.

The atmosphere in this stadium is non existent. Feels like they’re playing a friendly game somewhere in Asia in July, not the final of an European championship.

Loss of Hazard without getting proper players in will massively hurt Chelsea next season.
We are just hanging on and success or failure next season depends on how we do this summer window.
I can see Arsenal without Ramsey, struggling to finish above Leicester and wolves. Don't see them spending crazy money.
