Liverpool back on their perch.

And we are laying dead on the bottom of the cage.

Depressing.

What an awful season for us. City win everything domestically, Liverpool win the Champions League and we fail to even qualify for next year's. Given how the stars have aligned against us I'm still shocked Leeds didn't get promoted too.

Well played to them, as unbearable as this is going to be they came really close to doing the double and that would have been worse.

Felt like it was a normal game at FT. CL has lost its spark. I randomly remembered the game was on today. Maybe I've just lost inter eat in football.

Cant remember a lower quality final than this. Those teams of the late 00s and early 10s would have put up cricket scores against either of these.

I feel sick inside but if we are all being honest, Liverpool have been amazing this season. Klopp has finally broken his curse.

I think Ajax would have given Liverpool a game, but it is what it is.

Well done Liverpool.

Spurs were very poor attack wise. Ajax would have done better.

Just passing it between the backs most of the game.

Delle Ali was terrible too.

We shat ourselves, 100%. Just collectively as an attack nobody had any composure or quality when it mattered.

The bottle tag gets thrown around a lot (very stupidly) on here and 99% of the time doesn't apply, but tonight it might well be appropriate. Occasion looked too much for us and we retreated inside our shells, players didn't look like they wanted to take responsibility at all.

I agree did not feel like a final. Was very boring.

6 times now. Man we gotta get our own European game in check. It's been 11 years now for us. That's too long for me.

Congrats to the friendly Pool fans here. You were the least shite of the two teams.

Winning this shite final doesn't make you a fantastic manager
Yeah it does. Back to back CL finals and 97 points in the league without a sugar daddy or United style funds.

Fabulous management by a world class manager.

Ajax in this final would have been much better. Absolute state of them letting Spurs win.

Spurs are better without Kane, it’s been obvious for the last 6 months. I think it’s a real kick in the bollocks to Moura for him to drag them to this final to put the ‘golden’ boy on, clearly he’s not even fully fit.

Reminds me a bit of Van Nistelrooy, might be a great goalscorer but slows everything down around him. Doesn’t suit the rest of the team.

Ajax would have done a lot better then Spurs did in this final. They didn't show up at all. Cant remember one decent chance.

Isn't this because you got old? I would've raged 10 years ago. Istanbul destroyed me. This time around I'm calm.

Sincere considerations to all spurs fans on here. You guys defied all the odds in this comp. we just edged a rubbish final and got the breaks at the right time.

The Champions League doesn't really mean much these days when a team that finishes 5th in their league can call themselves "European champions" or when two teams who haven't won their league, one of which lost 13 games in their league season alone, contest a shit final.
Hahahaha sorry dont mean to laugh at you. But more salt in that post than the atlantic ocean.

They just won the most watched non world cup team sporting event in the world. Exposure alone means it's a far bigger club trophy than anything else. Dont turn off the screen now. Henderson about to lift that trophy baby.

Just noticed Pool are only 1 CL away from Milan. They'll broke their record in the upcoming few years as well and become second after Madrid. :(

Just remember one thing. They lost by one point in the league because they were afraid to attack a United team depleted by injuries.

A complete borefest of a match. Liverpool won’t care. This is the worst season as a united supporter I’ve had to endure. Unfortunately I think it will get worse.

Not even that mad.

Once they got past Barcelona, we all knew what was going to happen.

There were about 4 good chances for spurs, they could have won it in the second half honestly.

No team deserved to win today, worst final in 20 years.
