Really hard to take this one. They did not create one single clear cut chance, but Tottenham killed themselves after a few seconds. Actually, a reflection of the whole season.

Incredibly annoying that Milik missed that sitter to throw them out already in the group stage.

Spurs are better without Kane, it’s been obvious for the last 6 months. I think it’s a real kick in the bollocks to Moura for him to drag them to this final to put the ‘golden’ boy on, clearly he’s not even fully fit.

Reminds me a bit of Van Nistelrooy, might be a great goalscorer but slows everything down around him. Doesn’t suit the rest of the team.
Bad comparison. Ruud suited us very well. We just happened to be in a slight rebuilding period at the time.

Congratulations to them, they deserve it, especially Klopp who has transformed them.
I don't know if I'm in the minority, I probably am, but I don't really fuss over the champions league.
It's great when we win it, and I take pride in our treble, but Liverpool winning it 6 times won't cost me any sleep.
If they'd have won the league I'd have been borderline depressed.

Dig up stupid!
Penalty killed the game because it allowed the scouse to sit their midfield deep. Usually they'd be bombing on but they barely crossed the half way line tonight.
That's not a criticism btw it actually showed a lot more maturity than usual and showed they learnt from last season. They were taking an age on goal kicks from 10 mins on.
Spurs huffed and puffed but never really troubled them, the scousers were comfortable
I'm gonna go be sick

They're the greatest bottlers

There were about 4 good chances for spurs, they could have won it in the second half honestly.

No team deserved to win today, worst final in 20 years.
They were half chances.

I agree though worst final I can ever remember.

I feel sick inside but if we are all being honest, Liverpool have been amazing this season. Klopp has finally broken his curse.

I think Ajax would have given Liverpool a game, but it is what it is.

Well done Liverpool.
They would have made this more entertaining at least. Have Spurs even created one chance?

We shat ourselves, 100%. Just collectively as an attack nobody had any composure or quality when it mattered.

The bottle tag gets thrown around a lot (very stupidly) on here and 99% of the time doesn't apply, but tonight it might well be appropriate. Occasion looked too much for us and we retreated inside our shells, players didn't look like they wanted to take responsibility at all.
First half was terrible as well. It picked up in the second half alright. I was looking at my phone at times in the first half.

Heat looked awful for both teams.

Rose i thought was spurs best player.

Penalty was harsh as well i felt. Hit his chest and then his arm. Granted he should not had have it so high.

The Champions League doesn't really mean much these days that finishes 5th in their league can call themselves "European champions" or when two teams who haven't won their league, one of which lost 13 games in their league season alone, contest a shit final.
Repeat that enough times to yourself and maybe it'll become true.

Probably the most predicable CL final ever. A underwhelming game but Liverpool didn't have to play well to still win pulling up which i think says all you need to know about a huffing and puffing Spurs outfit.

Thank Christ this season is finally over.

A CL campaign full of bottling which came down to a team who always bottle it vs a manager who bottles it in the finals.

Spurs bottled it in the first min.

Congrats to our resident reds like @Klopper76 and @Dumbstar etc etc

Now can you give me back the last 2 hours of my life or set me up on a date with the hot streaker? Thanks

Liverpool were shit but we hardly got a shot
We were pathetic. We basically handed them the trophy without even a fight.

I feel sorry for Poch tbh. Tactically there was nothing wrong and we dominated the ball and had some promising breaks, what more can he do with the team?

They let him down completely. Complete fannies in front of goal.

Maybe Kane shouldn't have started.

You were the better team overall

(which isn't really saying much to be fair)
To be honest makes it worse, Poch got it wrong. I said not to start Kane, Lucas made the difference when he came on. To be honest I’d rather get out played at 4-0 than play how we did and lose 2-0.
