The objective is simple. Create your perfect squad with a remit of achieving the optimal success over a five year period. The parameters are as follows:
- A minimum of 8 players eligible for PL homegrown status.
- No more than 8 players over the age of 26.
- Squad harmony has to be a prime consideration I.e. The make up of the squad has to include players who would be happy (within reasonable assumption) as rotational options or reserves. Neymar for example isn’t going to be happy as a sub.
- Assume that future transfers would be limited at 2 in, 2 out per season.
- A managerial appointment with a specified playing philosophy, and players to match, must be made.
