There's not much to be said that hasn't already been said about this lot. X isn't good enough, we need more players in Y position...

We have better players than Crystal Palace, end of. Something is fundamentally wrong at this club. Absolutely spineless bunch.

Not sure I can be arsed with this season now. Last two weekends ruined. Genuinely don't know what to say.

fecking hell, can't believe we threw that away. So dominant, so many good positions, beaten by 2 broken losses of concentration and then not taking our chances (of which there were many). Can't miss pens like we have 2 games in a row. Also VAR fecked us earlier not giving the Martial pen. And then De Gea fecks up in the last minute.

The actual performance wasn't awful really, a lot of encouraging enough stuff, but ultimately not enough urgency and not clinical at either end when it mattered most.

Palace are a bottom 6 team. Losing at home to them just three games into the season (fitter, strong, bla bla) is criminal.

Our season peaked at first game, they’ll be plenty more games like that throughout the season. Already Ole needs a big rethink but the options at his disposal are pretty limited.

Plenty of ammunition to be negative. We could have had a couple of penalties (which we'd miss on current form unfortuantely) and a couple of red cards though. A shaky win on another day.

Start the season bang in 4, the clubs great, draw a game 1-1 we should have one and then they just wilted and turn to crap again for the next match. Microcosm of what happened last season. This whole club is just so fragile it’s frightening

How does one find the post match thread when logged in? For some reason it only appears when I am not.

£130m on our defence, DDG poised to sign a £350k/w+ deal and still the same old drab. Awful.

Has to be said, Disgraceful result.

This shows we have learned little from playing defensive teams. Wan Bissaka gassed last 10 minutes. De Gea awful for second. Rashford was really poor. Highlights how paper thin the squad is. Ole Pinning hope on a young Greenwood.

Going to be a long season

We were crap- no excuses.

But the only guy who was worse than us was the ref. Cannot believe the incompetence. He only called VAR when it was clearly not a penalty.
It is possible there ain't better refs?

We have a shite squad. We have a shite midfield. This was always going to happen. We let players go without replacing them. That was terrible.

Freak game. Should have won comfortably. Finally ready for a late surge and Martial gets injured while standing still. 1/10 game from Rashford today.
We've had a lot of those freak games it seems.

Immature team outdone by an experienced team who took advantage of a very weak referee.

Lingard pointless
Lindelof still can't win a header
Rashford back to into his shell after the penalty
Martial injured :(
Shaw injured (suprise surprise)
Pogba ball hogging in midfield and losing the ball for us to concede like last season (Wolves at home)

These guys don't learn.

Time for fans to admit United is just a mediocre team with unproven manager.
Today's result is inexcusable.

Imagine calling a typical home performance by us a freak game  that's the sort of toothless display we've become famous for in the last few years, nothing freak about it. The freak was the opening game.

Our team is rotten

DDG continues to lose us matches but is rewarded with the captaincy and a pay rise

Pogba on the winner for Palace – standard from him

James celebrating an equaliser like the Championship player that he is

And to take the biscuit – Ole grinning like a prick on the pitch at full time

The season already feels over

One of those games. Onwards and upwards. We’ll still finish 3rd in my opinion

For a club supposedly as rich as united the absolute fecking dross we manage to put on the field every week is depressing

I was sure we would win this one at a canter and my weekend is now ruined. No positives at all from that performance.

Red Card for Casemiro!
We kid ourselves once every few games or so, but we are a very limited squad with a very one dimensional manager.

No doubt everyone will blame Pogba for losing the ball for their goal.

De gea needs a few games on the bench, but I doubt ole has the balls to do it.

Some poor performances out there today. Rashford and lingard were dreadful today but will start the next game due to the lack of depth
