Thought Moyes was the clueless one, think we found a new guy for it
We just let him spend 150m as well. The next guy is well and truly fecked even if we do get a decent manager in now.

Starting to lose faith. I'm happy to see the deadwood go and can get behind up and down results if we really are trying to rebuild and bed in youth.

But... Another poor team selection, poor game management and bringing Matic on, leaving Greenwood on the bench again. Just can't see the progress.

Mirror image of the Wolves match. Early goal then pegged back in a shit 10 minute spell after half time. Some proactive changes would go down well.

I agree. I don't know how good Lindelof was for Benfica but I'm not even remotely impressed by him.
He's decent. But you'd think he's the jewel at CB we've been searching for years the way we've let go of our best performing CB.

He’ll be gone by Christmas. Out of his depth, should never have been given the job permanently. The results at the end of the season have continued & there doesn’t appear any plan to improve things.

Sadly I think you are right, I do believe the next manager will benefit from the ongoing clear out and the signings we have made but I don't think Ole has the tactical knowledge to make this team tick.

Ditto!

Solksjaer has done a brilliant job at clearing the dross, however he is well out of his depth. Appointing him under pressure from the media after a fluke win against PSG was just yet another disaster by our owners.

Is he not drilling attacking patterns ? Or are the players not doing what he wants them to do?

Should have never been given a permanent contract. He’s out of his depth and the woeful squad is only compounding the problem.

Should be out by Christmas

His vision is so, so obvious. Just look at the lads he brought in and what qualities they have. Look at the players he’s binned off in the last three weeks.

But we don’t have the midfield for it. It’s going to be tough, old season but I’ve seen enough in three and a half games to stick with the game plan. But he needs midfielders that value the ball. He needs a proper right winger.

The defence wants to play football. The team wants to press and attack. But it’s imperfect and, at times, all over the place. But there’s something there.
His vision is to struggle against relegation fodder by making us relegation fodder.

Under soil heating.
He took a huge risk that was never going to work. He is at fault as much as everyone else. This summer was absolutely baffling. We've gone backwards.

1 clean sheet in 19, 3 wins in 18, no away win since PSG. Give the guy an extension.

Hes making his bed. A very bizzare assumption on youth to carry us to top 4. This isn't the 90s, every club is rich now.

He’s not the one. I struggle to see how we get above 10th with him in charge.

Who would have thought that hiring a relegation level manager is not gonna work.

The club is a shambles but he looks well out of his depth now. Said before season started the setup in midfield was completely wrong.

It won’t be long before we’re well adrift of top 4, looking at our next six games before this I didn’t see us winning more than two, we’re a mess.

Let’s be honest, it’s over, he’s not good enough. We are currently Liverpool of old.

The results and the way we play speaks for itself. Can be a decent DoF but as a manager he’s clueless.

I wouldn't say we've gone backwards. We are super thin in midfield and attack, but our defense looks better playing wise and we've got rid of a few players we shouldn't build a team with or around. But we need to recruit more quality and start to see the evidence of proper coaching in possession and in the final third (and for set pieces).

Would be interesting to have seen what a Mourinho team would have looked like with Maguire at the start of last season though.

Out of his depth.

Mourinho, say what you want about him but he wanted to get rid of the likes of Martial and get true genuine world class players. Solskjaer on the other hand looks more suited for a mid table team just like Moyes. It is what it is.
