What let this game down was passing. A lot of bad passing. Also Way to much stretch between midfield and attack. Again missed a lot of clear cut chances. A lot of people was screaming about Fred and Gomes In the team, but I can’t see them as better options when they come on. Defensively AWB was good, but lot of passing mistakes. The whole team looked off, and management has to look at that - and themself. There will be plenty more games like this with this team, so I leave you sack race and moaners to it!

Stop putting Fellaini in this list, it's embarrassing. Do you think Pep or Klopp would consider lumping the ball long to Fellaini? Fed up of United fans who are willing to settle for lumping balls up to Fellaini as a viable tactic. There is plenty of teams that play like that in league 2 if that's your thing! Bloody embarrassing.

Edit. Sorry just actually read what your wrote, I'm annoyed, yes Fellaini should have been replaced. But with a footballer rather than a big brush.
FACT 1) Fellaini wouldn't improve Pool nor City.
FACT 2) He would improve this Man Utd team!

So, please, stop giving him the shit stick. His commitment was never in question.

This is our level under this clown, no surprise. I said we will finish between 6th-10th and I stand by that!
Doesn't matter who is the manager. Do people really believe that those players are better than they are showing?

I can see what Solskjaer is doing. And regardless of today’s result/performance, I remain glad that Lukaku and Sanchez have been shipped out. Likewise Smalling.

Truth be told. We have 15 good players that could form the base of a team that doesn’t play miserable football. The clear out must continue.

I could pick out so many shockers today but the one i will say...I don’t want Rashford in the first team. He’s a woeful striker and I’d actually prefer to see James in his preferred position on the left.

For me Rashford and Martial should be squad players. In comparison, just go and check out the squad depth at Juventus
On the pitch?

After almost a year, the players are still influenced by Mou's style. Or so we're told.

Guys, Angel gomes was fearless and everyone be was on the ball he really took it close to their box. It was refreshing to see him play. Although he came on way too late and should have started.

truth is looking at both line ups, West Hams attack and midfield was far superior to yours. Pogba would have went along way to redress that but if you asked me to pick my best 11 of both teams today at kickoff, there would be 4 United players maybe 5. gk, rb and both cb's are the only certainties.

Id have picked WH players in every other position. I dont know if its coaching or laziness or poor off the pitch dealings.. given the cost of the squad but you guys need a huge over hall. I suspect its a bit of all 3. Injuries arent helping you but having to rely on James to score wonder goals is not a viable strategy.
Why I said we would finish 7th and talk of too four was a pipe dream.

Our football is shocking. We're the worst coached team in the PL. No style whatsoever. It is truly pathetic what a nothingy and tumescent team we are.

The most worrying part of our game is the lack of any sort of energy. We are so passive and pedestrian in our play that we will have a very rough season. It’s becoming clearer every week that Ole is not the man for the job. He needs to take a step down and assume some sort of DoF and we need to bring in someone who actually knows the tactical side of things.

Exactly. The biggest problem with United is the coaching setup which is not fit for purpose.
If you look at other teams, there is some level of player improvement.
With us, has any player even remotely improved.

Actually there where loads of good opportunities to make good transitions going forward, but bad passing stopped it. If you see it or not is not that important.

Nothing positive today whatsoever but can we stop with the Mata missed an open goal nonsense? How unreasonable can you be?! Jesus

Keep positive. One of those games. It was never going to be an easy season. We’ll beat Arsenal week on Monday without a doubt. The team will get there and evolve. Complete faith in the manager - he just needs the full backing. Some of the comments in the match day thread were an absolute disgrace by cry baby “must have now tin pot so called fans” I’m afraid. Utterly pathetic....

Juan Mata should have been sold when Mourinho came in. Terrible today. How many times did he pass the ball back. Jesus wept.

Perreria nowhere near this level.

I still back Ole but its getting tired at this point. Same old shite since Ferguson left.

Need a ten badly to replace Mata becaus lingarrd is shit as well. Need a top RW like Sancho and a MF.

We are the wealthiest club in England If not the world. We start the game with Ashley and Andrea's... that is more than concerning.

We finished the game with Lingard at striker. Honestly clowns could run the club better than Woodward. He is the problem and until he is dealt with no reason to worry about much else.

There is no spoon.
I'm not sure why everyone is so upset, without massive investment and clear-out we're a mid-table team, today was just another example of the fecking obvious in my opinion.

The downfall of this club summed up. I except every team we face, home or away have a decent chance of beating us.

Pereira reminds me of asking some random to fill in for a game when someone doesn’t turn up. Is literally 4/10 at everything

Rashford was a passenger, looked out of it before finally going off injured.

Mata was somehow even worse.

Andreas still looks out of his depth, might as well play Lingard there, and he's not good enough either.

At least Daniel James tried to do something.

I watch Sheffield United every week and honestly they play much better football than we do, they have a system and Wilder is getting the best out the team.

We don't have any patterns of play, identity or obvious game plan, we need a director of football and some serious investment otherwise I can see us lagging behind for the next decade.

Predicted 2-0 West Ham so got that spot on, game pretty much went as I expected it to

People can bitch and moan about letting Lukaku, Sanchez, Fellaini and Herrera go but I highly doubt any of those four would have changed much. Fact is, we’ve a long road to get back to being a top side and this season was always going to have to be painful at times

We rely on mediocre players and finished players in both midfield and attack, so it's no surprise we're not among the top teams this season. I just hope Ole was begging Ed for reinforcements and didn't think these players were good enough.

I genuinely thought you were better than that but watching that team today.. you are spot on. Id say you'll be locked with Leicester for much of the season. The team you had out today is a midtable team imho.

You need Pogba and Martial back and on banging form to finish top 4. One thing in your favor is Chelsea look weak at the back and Abraham might be just a purple patch. Spurs are in disarray, Arsenal unreliable. This season is an ideal one for Leicester to have a good run as Wolves and Everton are miles off too.

expect the unexpectable this year and even with that you'll be surprised how boring and we could be.

We are simply not good enough. It's difficult to watch but we have to come to terms with it. Poor, very Poor.

Whoever it was that thought letting Fellaini, Herrera, Sanchez and Lukaku leave the club without replacing them needs sacking.

Another season to 'write off' as UTD supporter.
By the time the club got rid of Lukaku and Sanchez it was too late to find quality replacements. Therefore the only sensible thing was to keep them. Lukaku would have buried some of those wasted chances, esp the Maguire and Mata misses.
