With a squad as thin as ours, we really can't afford any injuries. Having Pogba, Martial and Shaw all injured has hurts us. Have they been incredible for us, no, but they're three players with quality and could be a different story if they were all fit today.

Even when we played a youth team in El and I thought it's gonna be fun we ended up playing boring crap football.

Every season of the post SAF we entered having hopes for something. A big name manager or some big signings.

This is the first time post SAF to enter the season expecting to finish 6th with literally zero hope. We have finally completed our transformation into a midtable club. Will need loads of money invested into the squad and a top drawer manager to return to where we were previously.

As per the subreddit - we’ve scored 16 goals in 17 games since he got the job on a permanent basis.

City scored half as many as that in one game yesterday.

I feel sorry for him. He has to work with the dumbest and useless bunch of players in the premier league.

I don’t really have faith in any manager turning this shit heap squad around. Nothing against Ole. Poch is experiencing similar issues to a lesser extent. Lost of any ideas, we can sack Ole, but I think it’s going to be rinse repeat with these lot.

I was against his appointment but do we think he's close to being axed?
Last Jan/Feb I thought Poch to United and Mourinho to Spurs. Funnily enough yesterday was speaking to a Spurs fan he thinks Poch gone within 2-3 months based on tone and pressers

Ole isn’t good enough, but that’s not the main problem. It’s starts from the top.

Where’s is our DOF that we was supposed to be getting? Just like our transfer strategy it’s being done at a snails pace.

There is no way that Ole was happy with our summer transfer business.

Ole isn’t good enough, but it’s the Glazer’s and Woodward that’s the problem.

I seriously wonder what he has them doing in training for them to pick up this many injuries.

Somethings wrong. I have the same feeling about this as I did with Moyes. It won't end well..
Sometimes injuries happen when they don't train well also. Almost all best players in the world rarely get injured(some are injury prone I agree), they also train the most.

This. It’s high time we stop blaming managers and start looking at this group of players. We need to replace them not the managers.
We need to replace both.

I'd replace most of the below

Ole
Young
Periera
Lingard
Mata
Matic
Bailly

He knew what he was signing up for. I've said it before that him Rashying, Tonying and other shitying the feck out of them won't save him from getting sacked but it seems he hadn't been listening.

I just wish that he would walk away from this situation because he is starting to tarnish his Utd legacy and it's really sad that has happened to him. The owners and their puppet Woody (yeah the one from Toy Story) have basically put a dagger right into the heart of this club and makes you wonder will any manager in world football be able to turn this around, seriously have got my doubts on that ever happening under this current ownership.

Doesn't help that he also lacks authority and the players quite clearly are walking all over him

Don’t know what part you think Ole plays in signing a player but it’s minimal.
Ok, but I have seen him get credit for bringing in the likes of James and AWB. So if coaching is the only thing to measure him by, then it doesn’t look too good, sadly.

Sack and get the Norwich guy, he doesn't need a bunch of world class players to get his team playing good football. Ole has no excuses, he's got no balls, style of play or tactics, shocking in game management, starts Matic and Pereira, takes 80 minutes to substitute Mata and keeps giving Lingard more minutes than Gomes. The board is the head of the snake, but he surelly is awful.

Here’s a thought, would we actually have replaced them all if they walked at contract expired? I’m not confident we would have
Not sure, but I'm not sure that's an excuse for giving most of those guys 3/4+1 contracts. Young's the only one who was extended short-term.

The manager signed off on giving those players those contracts. It's not rational to deflect criticism from Ole by pointing at the lack of quality of those players while ignoring that fact.

He should never have been given the job. The club said they wouldn't put a manager in place until the end of the season. We hadn't even seen Ole go through a tough patch to see how he would cope.

Appointing him was a stupid decision made by a stupid club.
And equally stupid people who are supposed to be running the club. As everyone now realises, they truly have no idea.
I really don't think that we have hit the bottom yet. Still some way to fall.

He is not. He also has no ball for calling out the Glazers and Woodward.

When I think about whether it's time to condemn Ole as being out of his depth, I consider whether another manager could do much better than we have done this season with these circumstances. Im just not convinced enough of that yet.

It's very unfortunate that the players we have out are among the players we can least afford to be without.
It sounds harsh but I think most rival PL managers could do. We went to Southampton and they outplayed us for much of the game, West Ham were comfortbaly better today, Wolves were equal to us - these aren't freak occurences. Any of the above managers; Hasenhuttl, Pelegrini, Nuno would improve us in my opinion.

Well what can he do? It's not like he can replace them right now. You've to wait till January and the summer to make a decent squad.

Tactically redundant and even getting defensive now, playing Matic and Mctominay is not going to win anyone a football match.

Really starting to lose faith now. Don't like his pitchside persona either, too weak, not instilling any confidence.

That's abysmal for a midtable team, let alone United.

Of course the problem doesn't start with him, it starts with the Glazers and Woodward. But let's not pretend that's the only thing holding us back.

His decisions on the pitch and transfer policy (selling good players without replacing them) have been appaling. I think I've lost faith in him. We are going to struggle to get top 6 I'm a season when Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal all look pretty shite.

No chance. This is his dream job. Hell be here till we're down in the dumps and he has to be sacked.

I mean, most probably could? We have been regularly outplayed by worse sides than us under Ole.

Wow:eek:. I am done here;)
That's something I'll always said, that I'm not saying Ole will be very good for us but he deserves time just like every other manager.

I supported Van Gaal and Jose, wanted them out after 1.5 seasons. Likewise I supported Ole and when you don't see any improvement I will want him gone.

Wanted him to succeed so much but don't think he will :(

OGS and the rest of the coaches. As was said during the spring: They are all involved with the decisions.

Blatantly clear that they do not know what they are doing. Buying Maguire for £80m and not investing in the midfield. That is where we lose every game. Unable to keep possession or control the game.
