The Phil Jones comment was tongue in cheek but yes I'd take a chance on a nameless individual from the youth over Rashford if Greenwood and Martial are unavailable.
And we come full circle no one is going to take you seriously

Thanks to our ludicrous transfer policy and abysmal summer window, we don't have anyone else. He'll play 30+ League games, he has to.

That would be a bad decision considering none of the strikers in our youth teams are anywhere near as good as him. Why would you actively want to play a worse player and make things worse?

He’s carrying an injury and his confidence is shot. I don’t buy that he’s a bad player but I agree that he needs to be taken out of the limelight (I think that is what it is called). It’s a lot of pressure on young shoulders and he is obviously struggling and we could do with someone else taking up the mantle. However, we don’t have many options, at least until January anyway.

The only player we have to replace him is Greenwood.

As much as I like Greenwood, he's 17. We shouldn't be relying on him at this stage so, unfortunately, we're having to play Marcus through injury and poor form.

I don't know how Ole/whoever thought not bringing in another attacker after letting both Lukaku and Alexis go was a good idea. I could see this problem coming from a mile away.

Thats what's annoying; It's all self-inflicted....

Should be the backup LW, that's it. James is better on the left, Greenwood is already better uptop where Rashy has been shit for a number of games. Martial is better on both positions, when fit. Ole is clueless, he'll keep picking the worst options until he's sacked, same case with Lingard.

Who says they are worse? Rashford wouldn't look out of place in league 2 or our youth team currently so there's no way to say our youth strikers are any worse based on current form.

Play him on the right it forces him to simplify his role and bring his quality. He’s a good player and will show it again soon.

One of my main problems with Ole is that he always seems to come at situations in a "hope for the best" manner. He plans for if things go perfectly, no one gets injured, both Martial and Rashford kick on. There seems to be no room for contingencies.

Apologies, I would not have dragged this out had I known you weren't being serious.

Carry on.

His lack of composure near goal is staggering. Unfortunately we aren't good enough to drop him. He'd struggle to get on the bench of teams we allegedly aspire to be better than on his current form.

We can't rest him until Martial's fit. It's the lightest attack I've ever seen at this club. It's ridiculous.

I’m getting sick of seeing his arse go when through on goal and the ball getting tangled up in his feet. Needs dropping. His confidence has gone and seems to be regressing in every area of his game.

Rashford is not 100 percent fit. Its obvious. Its the same as last year. Why people are having a go at him when he is playing injured and judge him and his future career on it is beyond me. We should rejoice that we brought such a player through the youth system.

Rashford has been utterly diabolical lately. How the manager doesn’t see it is impossible to explain.

Is there any position he actually plays well at? He's rubbish at right wing, mediocre at the left and has absolutely zero striker's instincts to play up top. It's infuriating the number of times there are crosses played in and he's not even remotely close to the 6 yard box or anticpating a cross coming in.

Because our manager allowed forwards to leave the club, leaving us with a 17 year old as next choice.

So it’s take your player out of the firing line, but Then put the weight of the world on Greenwood’s shoulders. feckin awful squad management.

I’ve never missed any opportunity to criticise Rashford because I genuinely think he is utter garbage but even I’m starting to feel sorry for him now

Put him out of his misery and get him back out wide, if that lads a PL CF then I’m a magical wish granting toaster

Rashford and Lingard are the untouchables. It’s plain to see for everyone, but Ole and his coaching staff persist allowing the same mistakes over and over from this pair.

I have never laid into any United player, mainly because I couldn't care less but also because if they're terrible it would be good for us as it weakens United's chances.

But I honestly cannot believe this guy plays for United, along with some other players that are well-known for their lack of ability.

United will only challenge for major honours when they wake up and smell the coffee.

Incredibly selfish player. Yes he's played a lot and probably needs a break but the amount of times there's a better option on and yet he wants to do it all himself for the glory. Think there was an opportunity to square it across the box to James(?) In the first half, instead tries to drag it back and fails.

The amount of times he does that type of thing shows where he's head is at. Thinks he's already made it. Great effort on the FK though.

Rashford would benefit from getting dropped for a while, a month or so on the bench would do him good. But we cant afford it, and Ole loves him and JLingz, so they naturally play 99% of the time, if half fit (or in form) or not
