What's he gonna come out with today, "the lads played really well its not a bad result, Newcastle were challenging for the league not so long ago so not a bad result"

He clearly isn't the right man for the job.

The only questions are where we go next, how long we have to wait (is the next manger available now or in the summer?) and whether Woodward will face any consequences whatsoever for yet another failed manager under his stewardship.

Absolute fecking shambles.

Who is going to get a tune out of this squad? I just can’t see it. Sack him and who else is going to make Rashford score?
Maybe the key is to just not play such an overhyped turd of a striker in the first place?

Rashford is a winger you bring on with 20 minutes left when everyone is tired. I dont think he'll ever be anything more.

Resign?

People expect him to voluntarily leave his dream job and miss out on a multi million pound pay off, leaving his reputation in tatters even more than if he was sacked?

Another classic performance under Ole. No urgency, no creativity & no clue how to play football.

Allegri appears to be available per a recent report. If he is, we should get him on board ASAP.

Keep him and were in a relegation dog fight , make no mistake about it , the last 26 games have been horrendous, we got beat 2-0 by cardiff who were already relegated ffs, the alarm bells went off then for me.

Its only going to get worse , i dont buy into this rebuilding balls, get Poch, get Allegri, get Mouhrino just get rid of OSG now.

The tactics are awful, selections are poor , everything is rotten from a playing perspective.

Ultimately it's not Solksjaer's fault. What's happened to Manchester United is solely the Glazers and Woodwards fault. But the blame will rest at the managers feet. Ole isn't a good enough manager. But looking at the subpar squad he's to work with, I could see managers having the same problem.

Would love for him to hold his hands up after the game and admit the job's too big for him. Him resigning is probably the only way that this can end. Can't see the board sacking him anytime soon.
He is deluded just like our fans are. I can bet his post match interview will be something like "If Maguire scored that header we would have won this game :D:D:D".

The issue here isn’t the lack of wins, it’s the cluelessness.

If we were losing games because of squad quality then OgS’ cliche bull**** may pass but this is a terrible coaching job.

Every game we look clueless; I can’t see a plan. A rebuild needs one both on & off the pitch, we have neither.

OgS is trading off his history as a player & the amazing goodwill he has; he’s taking the fanbase for idiots.

He is.

If he had any love for united like he says then he would walk away after this game. If he stays then he can say goodbye to his legacy he created as a player.

It's his own doing that. He decided to sell Lukaku, he decided to sell Sanchez and to not extend Herrera's contract, he decided to spend 80 million on yet another centre-back. Ed Woodward is a massive massive troll if he doesn't sack him after tonight.

Well. If you read about SAF’s first 4 years 1986-1990 you will find that he struggled and that many expected him to be sacked. At the time, not many saw him as a world class manager.

It’s not always what it seems.
Difference being SAF won 3 league titles, European cup winners cup and Super cup before he came.

Someone who's going to get us a. RW, a ST and a CM in the winter.
That would be around 200 m, but with Pogba leaving in the summer we should afford it.

Any manager would struggle with this squad. Admittedly Ole is probably 1-2 wins behind what a better manager would have got from us. Yes, he is part of the problem. But the low quality of squad is the biggest problem.
He is embarrassingly out of his depth and we’re getting worse and worse, it’s beyond the quality of the squad, he would struggle with late 80’s Milan.

Time now for the sack. Like the guy but he clearly cannot coach at this level. Same dreadful performances each week, awful performances from usual suspects that he persists with, and same awful system he keeps playing. The worst United side I have seen.

so your reasoning not to sack someone incompetent is because you think no one else will be competent?

Should be getting sacked tonight. Woodward should be on the phone for a replacement, or will he have Carrick/Phelan as caretaker manager till we get a permanent one?
