Bulgaria have consistently failed to deal with this, its been a problem for a long time. It’s not good enough to just kick some fans out after two warnings.

This was talked about as a problem, and has immediately been one. Countries who can’t stop it don’t deserve to be involved in these competitions.
It’s clearly not an easy thing to deal with, it’s like sectarianism here in NI there is very little an FA can do to stamp out years of cultural feckwittery. I still go to games here, the quality is shite but it’s my local team but some of the abuse that is given out in the stands isn’t shocking. I guess I just feel for the real fan is circumstances like this.

A lot of hard working Bulgarians in the UK and I'm sure they would be disgusted by this.
The sad thing is that they dont have fault, but there is a chance, that they will suffer from the acts of some cnuts.
I hate that, because of some brainded people now we all will be affected and called racists.

Those ejected racist morons were having a great time laughing in-between their racist chants. This the game for them, and this new protocol guarantees them the limelight. They couldn't give a stuff about matches being abandoned, in fact they seem to be revelling in the opportunity to create some headlines.

UEFA needs to come down hard if stage 3 has to be implemented. At the very least, make them play internationals in empty stadiums. Kicking Bulgaria out of Euro 2020 isn't an option since these mugs are already out of qualification, but I'd like to see them banned from the next World Cup qualifying. If the sanctions really are the most severe possible then the real fans will help deal will these idiots inside the ground.

I lean more towards you can’t have this happening regularly, it’s so unfair on the players to be subjected to it. If countries aren’t prepared to address the issues, should they be involved? Players shouldn’t be on pitches where they get fecking monkey chants it’s vile.

The team should be banned from the trying to qualify for the next Euro's. It really is as simple as that. This is not an isolated incident by one or two idiots. Its happening time and time again by a good number of people. Enough is enough. Ban them.
Agreed, they were articles coming out ahead of the game about this probably happening, and some Bulgarian fans were happy to oblige and disappoint.

This is the most open racism I've ever seen in a football stadium, and that's saying something.

Utterly appalling.

Ah ffs are you really going to force us to have to agree with Piers Morgan... Rock and a hard place.
Just ignore that prick. He’s more than happy to support racist right-wing types when it he suits him.

edit. Piers Morgan btw, not the poster

This could be a slippery slope. Do you cancel the game because a microphone picked up (for arguments sake) 1 person ?

Until a team finally walks off the pitch. I don't really have the energy for the racism debate.

On a side note, Bulgaria look awful.

It’ll be much more useful long term to just walk off now... our fans have gotten their money’s worth, and making it the news story it deserves to be will force UEFA into action way more than playing on will... feck it.
