We don’t get the points though do we? Have to wait for it to be stopped.
I suppose I’m hoping that the controversy would force UEFA to award them to us anyway (especially with the score as it is).... but it’s UEFA, so who the feck knows, probably not. Issue needs to be forced though it seems. The 3 strikes thing clearly isn’t working.

It went off his leg and on to his arm. I want Portugal to win but that's a really harsh penalty.
It hit his arm in an unnatural position... it's a penalty.

It's unlucky but if you go flying in the air to block a shot while diving horizontaly and leave your arm up in a 90 degree angle then you put yourself at risk

What?

He went flying with his arm in the air to block a shot
If the shot had gone straight into his arm/hand I could’ve agreed with you. He actually manage to block the shot with his leg and then it deflects onto his arm.

Giroud the super sub. France should have had a penalty, no VAR, corner, goal from the big man. Magnifique!
What was the turkish defender doing with his arm, it was strange.

Maybe I'm wrong but does that matter?

The 3 strikes thing is a bit of a weird concept anyway. Like here you go, you can have 2 shots at racism but no more than that or you’re taking the piss a bit.

I find it extremely unlucky. Glad it was given but nothing much you can do about a deflection off your leg onto your arm. Definitely not a second yellow either.

Yeah, terrible positioning of his arm, might have been an OG if he hadn't touched it. He had his eyes closed for the header so he mis-hit it.

I hope we get banned by UEFA and FIFA from professional football for the next 20 years. I'm actually praying it happens!

Stupid that Southgate is putting Wilson on the wing just so Kane can get his goal.

He's been very unselfish and its a shame he hasn't scored, but if Southgate was putting a striker on, it should have been for Kane.

I despise how commentators will say literally anything to keep fans watching. Clean sheet importance? Say it, keep em watching. Performance of the young players? Say it, keep em watching. Racism or risk of match abandonment? Say it, keep em watching. They value nothing except continuing the engagement of the viewer.

No, not really :) a second yellow though, what the heck. But impressed by Ukraine either way. Never watched them under Sheva but he seems to be doing a great job. Very tactically astute from the whole team tonight. Only player who has looked lost (and surprisingly poor on the ball) is Marlos.

Sucks that some idiots ruin it for fans like you, and the players who just want to play for their country in these big tournaments.

Henderson's one of those guys if he was German who everyone would praise for always being technically and tactically astute and never playing a less than 7/10 match.

Yep, a hugely undervalued player on here for obvious reasons but I’d take him at Spurs any day of the week.

He was awful against the Czech Republic.

Yeah, it’s like something they’d do on a school trip to stop the children playing with firecrackers. Not remotely serious enough.
