Martial's back and we're playing football again. Gosh, I've missed him!

It's great and all that we're finally winning a match, scoring more than 1 goal, but let's calm down with the celebrations shall we.

We were 16th to start the match. 16th!

No excuses, I want to see a run of results with positive performances now.

Statistical analysis frequently removes aberrational results to show the pattern. I am not really sure why people don't understand this point. Including his time as temporary manager is clearly inflating his win rate because his win rate during that period was abnormal.
Haha. You can't arbitrarily decide which results are aberrations, a statistical model is supposed to tell you that (ie. regression analysis over a large sample of interim manager data). I don't want to dive too deep into this b/c it's not interesting to the layman, but just know your sample is biased.

The minute we're playing actual attacking football we are almost instantly rewarded with two penalties.

I know it's hard against such tough opponents like Partizan and Wolves, but please Ole, play attacking football.

If only the same could said to the pedantics before the game. We were 16th and after winning this we are 7th...

Its obvious there'll be a fair few who'll come out with the "I told you so" but how many times have we seen this in the last 200 games or so? This is a good performance, maybe our best of the season, but truly it'll mean jack shit if we don't build from this.

No sh!t, but the point is how people love to beat the "we are 16th" line over and over yet just from one win we can jump 9 places :houllier:

Well, we we've been hovering around there for a few weeks.
Yeah and it's still so early, hence why 1 win can make this jump.
Theres 4 very winnable games coming up and the situation completely changes. Liverpool was supposed to beat us 0-5, Norwich, most were saying we will lose or draw. As I said so many pedantic fans on here

First half was good. Second half was average. I don't know what he is saying to the players at HT but every single time that we lead at HT we come out much worse.

Would it kill us to just hammer a team, Norwich were ripe for about 8 goals today and we gave them as much opportunity as physically possible to get something out of the game.

Hugely confident. No Mata, matic Lingard. We will win today. Get behind them. Support the team instead of whinging
There you go. The quality of the players actually matters. Got a few good ones back, didn't have to carry 4/5 crap ones and played well. Shocker.

I’ve said this a couple of times, the season is still young, so much so that one win can still catapult you up the table.

The drama has been verging ridiculous, it’s a thin squad and we’ve had a lot of injuries, if Ed had pulled his Ed’ out of his a*se and replaced Lukaku for Ole that would have helped as well.

Kinder fixtures coming up, let’s hope the team can maintain some confidence and try to get maximum points.

Norwich were all over the place, they were terrible. We had some good spells in the game but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Amazing that having your best striker back makes a difference to how you attack as a team?

Who knew?

Yes I’m being smug but hopefully that will shut a few people up saying we’re in a relegation battle.

I’ve said it many times if you take the two best creative players out of any team in the PL bar Man City they would struggle and look how different today was with our best striker.

How can you say for United player that he is crap? Show some respect and support a team

And why were the all over the place? Could it be we were pressing high closing down passing lanes and had some genuine quality up front which resulted in us getting 3 goals and we could have had about 6/7 today too but for Krul!

No, it's because they have a worst defence in the league and getting relegated.

What exactly did you see out there?
Did you even watch the game? Or are you trolling? If you can’t see the patterns of movement and play in that game the triangles on the pitch the pressing the overlaps and under laps from CM etc then I’m sorry but you don’t understand tactics and should get off fifa.

Maybe have a look at their position, results and stats in the league and you will know why they have been all over the place.
