Even if it isn't a handball for a penalty (which it is) isn't it a handball in the build-up to the goal? Or had enough arbitrary time passed?

Also, why was Salahs not checked for offside?

when you consider how long it took yesterday to rule off Sheffield United's goal against Tottenham yesterday

i must be in the minority. Fairly sure that Salah was played on by the City dude in the foreground (De Bruyne?).

People need to stop being biased. Bernardo Silva's hand hit it first. You cannot generate a penalty from an attacking handball by new rules. So you cannot cancel Fabinho's goal.

What's with the constant booing ? You'd think the game is played in some shithole city and not in ... nevermind.

Is there any point in watching football any more this season?
Liverpool getting all the dubious decisions and everyone else getting done over.
I actually stopped watching last season. I’ve only seen their games vs. us. I hate to sound like a stuck record but it’s obvious there’s some instructions or at best a mutual obsession by refs to have them finally win a title. I figure why watch something so blatantly dirty?

Fabinho is going to get away with murders today, that was a definite pull back in built up

In fairness, they were on the bum end of 2 VAR decisions at our ground, but today's have a whiff about them

City’s entire gameplan seems to consist of never going behind and hoping no-one notices your terrible defence

Totally offside that tbh.
Stones may be playing him on but when you know how long it takes them to check every other offside it’s remarkable how little delay there was for that goal. Or how we haven’t been shown it.

Weird thing about that goal is it didn't look offside at all when the play was going on. Only when you took the picture and check it out, but then that's the role of VAR.

Liverpool have been lucky with the VAR here.

Regardless though, you can’t deny the stuff they play is enviable. Really fast flowing, always first to the ball.

If they do win it this year, you can’t say it’s all luck. They play good football and if they get number 19 then so be it.
But you can't really ignore the impact of having the refs on your side. If they can even choose to ignore to use the technology, then what's the point? I mean, instead of 1-0 they should've had a penalty against them, and then they just say 'nah feck it we're not looking at a potential offside' after spending five minutes yesterday ruling out a goal for Sheffield United because one angle showed a bloke's big toe being offside.

I mean, they play good football but they're not the only team doing that. The referees are massively stacking everything in their direction. Had City scored to make it 1-0 from the spot then we'd have been talking about how well City started and how they made their early dominance count and how they shocked Liverpool at the kop. Enter the refs.

His knee looks offside to me, and since he can score with it, it should be offside.

If its a handball by silva, advantage is over when it hits TAA and should be a liverpool fk in their box. Either way play has to stop
