Not really surprising. Moyes did a decent job at Everton whilst Ole would have not lasted one season let alone nearly nine seasons.

Sat on his ass for 70 minutes while our team put in a predictably terrible performance because of the horrendous midfield. Only like for like changes and Pereira played another 90 minutes. I don't understand what the feck he sees in him.

I don't get. We are going nowhere and we keep going with Ole. Worst situation possible.

With Poch available he should be sacked. We are level on points with Burnley and Palace after 14 games. Simply not good enough.

We won't sack him though, always leaves it too late.

Enough is enough. He focused on the defence and we let teams score for fun. His in game management is very poor, we play crap football and it's the worst league start in 30 years or something. He actually outdid Moyes, amazing really.

We're in 9th place ffs. How low can the standards go? Amazing that people come here and defend him

I have been of the belief that the issues surrounding the club are bigger than Ole. Woodard, Transfer Policy etc. That said, it's getting close to the end for Ole.

I am not certain if a new manager will do better, but how much worse could they do?

I’ve tried, I really have but sadly I don’t think Solskjær has it in him to take this club forward, the problems are deeper than him obviously, I wonder who we could get in that could change things because the club is run horribly.

Lose the next two and there's a good chance we'll be in the bottom half at Christmas. This is getting ugly :(

When people were calling for Ole out earlier, I was reluctant because I didn't see any good candidates. Don't fancy Allegri.

Now Poch is available though. And we don't look like improving under Ole.

Games are lost and won in midfield and we didn't have one. No wonder we couldn't control the rhythm of the match. Aston Villa's midfield would walks into ours currently. Says

Who can watch this shit? Week in and week out, playing like we are just newly promoted. Every draw is a point again to staying in the top flight. I don't see Ole as a manager at Utd. I hope the board sack him and bring Porcettino. Start our rebuilding with the right manager.

Listen, we are playing with half a central midfield. And that's if you're being nice to Fred.

So as a professional manager do you:
a. Pretend your midfield is fine, and change nothing about your tactics
b. Be inventive/pragmatic, and adjust your system to get around your weaknesses

If you're a. you're Ole. It's not good enough at this level.

We've been outplayed, in consecutive prem matches, by two newly promoted teams. Outplayed. That's unforgivable.

Long term planning and patience are important things. However, for them to have a chance of paying off you need to have at least appointed your manager on a sound basis. We didn't do that, so have little reason to believe things will improve in this particular case.

There's nothing to suggest Solskjaer simply isn't too mediocre a manager to ever succeed here. That lack of grounds for faith is a big problem.

The appointment of Solskjaer says all we need to know about the people running the club.

Imagine a club like Manchester United sack a manager without having a clue as to who to replace him with.
They need to be ruthless now, sack Solskjaer and get Rodgers before someone else does.
Its a embarrassment.

Can't expect this team to do any better. A win against Villa with the squad we have is simply too much to ask. A new manager couldn't get us to win these games either.

Yes, Ole's been unlucky with injuries but we're not even going in the right direction.

I feel like the players are on the fence as to whether they want him as manager or not. They're not giving 100% because they don't have full faith in his ability but at the same time don't want to completely screw him over because he's a nice guy and been good to them. So we are in some weird hopeless situation where we're not improving.

Get him out now and bring in Poch, in time for the Jan transfer window. P.s $%&@ off Woodward

How in the hell fans can justify this shit is beyond me. 22 points behind the scousers after 14 games. 8 points off top 4. 9th place behind shit clubs like Sheff Utd, Wolves, Leicester. Same points as other rubbish Burnley, Palace. Still a point behind Arsenal who have just sacked their manager cos of the terrible start to the season and yet Solskjaer still has the boards backing and 48% of the fans on here? What would it need for him to lose his job? At the moment it looks like only the threat of relegation. And by the way we are closer to the bottom 3 (6 points) than the top 4 (8 points). What an utter mess.

To think we have manage to employ two managers like Moyes and Ole is an accomplishment that Woodward should be proud of!

But the 48% with 'Ole in' what's your excuse?
