Doesn’t really change anything for me. Still suffering from the same old problems with lack of midfield creativity, except we’re playing god awful on top of that.

Final straw for me this.

The individual errors compound things yes, but this performance is absolutely diabolical and its every other week at best.

They all look like strangers out there. No chemistry. No cohesion.

Ole out.

Are you saying it's his fault the players all of a sudden can't control or pass a ball anymore and he could have done something about three terrible individual errors?
No sorry, nothing is his fault. Wins are on him, losses on everyone else including Eddie.

He gave Dave a big contract and signed AWB. Never his mistake when we lose
The 130m he blew on Maguire and AWB has to be the stupidest bit of transfer in football at a big team in the last few years. Neither is a quick fix or good for the long term.

While it's true that there are big issues with this squad including a very poor midfield, Ole's recruitment was made with playing on the break in mind. He bought a centre back who has no pace on the turn therefore can't play in a high line, a technically limited full back whose strength is winning the ball back in defensive areas and an inexperience and technically limited winger whose pace is most useful when teams are pressing up against us. There never seemed to be any real will on his part to bring in a midfielder or a number 10 (Longstaff appeared to be our only serious midfield target) so although Ole will surely want better players and more depth and if he gets them then I'm sure will improve to some extent, the reliance on sitting back and hitting on the break was added to by the focus of our signings in the summer.

Ownership of the result which reads 2-0 as of now ultimately lies with the manager. So by your logic Ole deserves no credit for the wins over City and Spurs. If players faults cannot be attributed to managers then their goals also shouldn't be. Why hire a manager then?

Take out the individual errors and it’s still one of the worst displays Ive seen. Barely had a shot at goal all game against a side rock bottom of the league with 1 win and 1 goal at home all season.

He can’t set the team up against smaller sides, he continues to play a #10 when that role creates absolutely nothing for this team. Lingard, Mata whoever plays there us useless yet after months he continues to use it.

Why the feck he’s not dropped Lingard for Greenwood I don’t know, may as well play 4-4-2 against these sides.

I think that there now has to be a question - and it is obviously at least partly down to the quality of players available to him at present - as to whether we're struggling to break down teams who don't go at us because we need better and more creative players or whether, at least partly, because motivation is a problem against perceived weaker sides. The intensity doesn't look at the same level and that's the responsibility of the staff.
Same again today, from what I can see. There's a casual approach and borderline arrogance that is based on nothing at all.

I know people are going to say "the goals aren't Solskjaer's fault" and fine, he of course can't control mistakes but he can control our style of play. We have had one chance. The reason we all basically thought it was over after the first goal was because we have never shown a sign of scoring or battering them. That's all down on him. He cannot after 12 months come up with a system other than long ball forward and use speed.

I’ve been fairly consistent over the past year. I’m also consistent when I say that midfield three of Fred, McTominay and Lingard is dreadful.

We could sack Ole tomorrow and we’re not finishing above fifth or sixth with any other manager with midfield options such as this.
You dont get it dont you? Even if he is not the only problem, he is the easiest one to solve, he is rubbish, like Lingard and co. Why do you want those players gone, while not him. We start with the obvious problem. The clueless relegation novice manager.

Nothing is his fault? What are you on about? You can fault him for how he approaches games, subs he makes, that sort of thing. But pinning individual errors on him is nonsensical and they are the reason we're losing here.

Outsider here but I don't see how he can keep the job just because of his record against the bigger teams, he is no better than emery, it was just easier for us to sack emery as he had no connections with the club

He needs atleast 14 transfer windows before he can beat Watford and Villa. Not on Ole. It's always the players.

Don't do this to yourself boys

He is staying no matter what, still vastly supported solely because he is ex-utd player. When we mathematically out of the top 4, then I'll say we have a slight chance he is getting sacked, long time till then.

Yes it is! Players are not focused too often. Staying focused is something you could train.

Watford stats before this match 1-6-10, 9-32. And people still think we're a couple of creative players away from being great under this manager.

Watch us come back and win now, I don't care. This delusion has to stop.

Nowhere did I pin the errors on him. Unfortunately, he isnt good enough and never will be. And our team is a fitting image of the quality of the man leading them. Clueless.

Today’s been poor. So poor that I think I’m now ole out. That first half was far too common for me.

Our movement is so poor you wonder what we do in training. City are far better than us but watching them yesterday really made me realise how bad our general play is atm.
