I think that’s the first time I’ve ever switched off with injury time still to go. On the counter numerous times, desperate for a goal and we put our foot on the ball and go sideways or backwards.

An utter cnuts performance from every player.

Arsenal weren’t good, we just didn’t match their effort.

Shaw should never start a game again. He’s a fecking pisstake that lad.

    There's only one United!
If Ole starts Shaw and Lingard the next match then he needs to go as anyone of us can see that Williams and Pereira are far better.

Shaw and AWB as your fullback is tragic going forward. The amount of time Shaw just back passed to Maguire and AWB attempting to play football while looking like bambi on ice was quite something horrific to watch.

The next match is a league cup, do you really want to bother with a league cup? We might start them.

The next match is the FA cup mate. 3 days time!

We looked knackered enough tonight, I wonder how we'll look in another quick fire job!

5 fecking AM here, never watch late game again. Maguire 80 £m player my ass, his woeful positioning cost us the first goal. And he's supposed to organise our fecking defence ffs.

Tough watch. Never really looked like we were at the races, Rashford subdued, Martial unable to do too much.
It was like they were all looking forward to Pogba starting then were deflated when news came he's out, again.

Letting Chelsea off the hook for dropping points, again.
    Sigh.

Huh? Shaw didn't watch his man, the guy just peeled off him.

Yeah, firmly believe that header could have made this a whole different day. Gotta ask where's this goalscoring CB of Leicester days? Do players suddenly realise they're actually shite the minute they sign with us or wtf? It's inexplicable

Deflating performance, these players again come up short knowingly when other fixtures around us go our way.
    Concerns all over the field.

good game by us in the first half, lost the mojo a bit in the second where you were the better team, we ran ourselves ragged in the first 60-70 mins, lucky you couldn't capitalise on it in the final part of the game.

Losing is more painful for this interview with David Luiz pretending to be a mature grown-up PL footballer, and not a massively entertaining clown with an error in him.

He's been rotating Lingard and Pereira for ages now so I'd say Pereira will start the next one.

Williams deffo deserves another start against Wolves but not sure he's up to starting every game as he's still quite raw and made a few mistakes towards the end of his last run in the team.

Who cares what Watford had done BEFORE that game, or after that game (which they actually won all of)?!

Are you watching the games or collecting stats? Ridiculous.
I watched the game, they had four shots on target. Shaw was shocking, as was Jesse - but there is a difference between Ozil, Pépé, Lacazette and Aubameyang and who for Watford...Deeney?

I get that this is the "worst" performance, but it's not in my eyes, losing to the Bottom team in the league was the worse. Strangely Pogba / Mct was the only different player in that lineup.

If you watch the 1st goal again you'd see Lindelof stepped forward to make Ozil offside. Everyone did the same, even Shaw but not Maguire, he was below the line. That was a really stupid and amateurish mistake tbh.

I don't blame Shaw for the goal as the ball bounced off after Ozil's cross. It's just bad luck it land in front of that Pepe.

Bringing Juan Mata on to see if he can get close to his 10,000 steps today. Prior to being subbed on, he was a little short with a total of 25.

The man can hardly move, why bring him on? :nervous:
He doesnt need to move when he can ping a pass on a plate for Rashford

    Switched off at HT.

Don’t know where to begin with that 1st half? Can’t comment on the 2nd half performance as didn’t watch a single second of it.

Ah, thanks. Isn't Maguire the defensive leader though? So they should be following his call? It's certainly indicative of the confusion at the club.

And Shaw should still have tracked the run, it's his whole job, it's an individual thing he should do, not a whole backline thing!

Van Persie saying Rashford and Martial made about 15 great runs each and simply didn't receive the ball for their excellent work. Interesting in light of some of the criticism they're getting here.

If all the defenders waiting for his call all the time it'd be too late for such offside trap. Football doesn't work like that.

My biggest issue is he was behind Lindelof and Lindelof had waved his hand to signal the whole line to push higher. Maguire did move up if my memory serves me right but he was still like one big step behind the line then stopped. His positioning and space awareness is just utter crap tbh.

Let’s give him another contract extension in that case!
Na, not quite. He’s incredibly limited now he’s declined, but it was a positive sub, he added creativity it’s just a shame Rashford doesn’t go in with his head and score an easy goal.

I would agree, there needs to be a discussion on why the players can't see those runs. Pereira saw but couldn't slot it with power, but Lingard? He can't get the ball, and he can't pass, and more importantly, he makes us lose possession.

There’s merit in what you’re saying, man. I’m just of the opinion he should’ve been let go in the summer and isn’t quite what I would like to see coming off the bench. I get your point though.

Neither's good enough. Pereira's like a create-a-player no-one bothered to edit stats on.

That was an utter garbage performance and no longer can we say,oh yes but we still win the top six games.

I also couldn't understand why Utd didn't challenge that penalty decision more. Hate to give the scousers credit but at least they voice their displeasure at tight decisions.

Time for Ole to give Williams a proper run in the team,he obviously trusted Shaw on the City performance but now he has to make the change.

Pereira can have good games, his last game was good and he changed this game because he does have an understanding on how to play. So for me, it's working. Some players have progressed, but Lingard position is too vital and is killing our play! And that is a huge problem as it's just giving the ball away.

    Sucks.. bad day. No positives.

    forget it.. move on.

and please.. can we have a midfielder.. McT is out for weeks.. Pogba has retired. Matic should retire.
Need at least two because still haven't replaced Herrera either, we have probably got the worst midfield in the premier league and that is no joke
