I have never hated him because he was a great favourite of mine as a player not only for the CL final but the way he played. When he got the Cardiff gig I was so happy for him.

But now the situation has changed. He is destroying the very club that made him. I have started to dislike him now.

This is so not the game to judge him by, when we are ravaged by injuries and playing what in this point of time is the best team in Europe at their ground.

Not sure it'll get in the heads of this with pre set agenda 's

We should judge him on the previous 22 of which we've won 9.

Horrendous away record as well - 12 points from 12 games.

More apt to say that he's been made the friendly face of the club being destroyed. A poster boy for withering expectations.

What I don't understand, and this is a criticism of our previous managers, is why we never play with the same intensity and speed that Liverpool did for 15 minutes. Why is it so impossible for us to apply that pressure?

Spot on mate good post.

You just know the posters who had their excuses at the ready today. They saw we had a few injuries and said feck it, no matter what happens today we'll blame everything and anything except Ole, just to suit our narrative.

Good on you for calling out agenda driven posters.

Tactical set up has actually been good and quite interesting. We're just overmatched.

Liverpool is playing 100mph football and Ole can’t cope with that gameplan. I don’t understand why Williams was preventing Van Dijk movement. It reminded me of when Kante was marking Fellaini  We typically play better against top teams, so I expected better today to be honest.

Yes because taking this game out of consideration, we have had an excellent season haven’t we. Ironic since it’s obviously you that has an agenda and can’t see the wood for the trees. You’re the one trying to defend a terrible performance because of injuries, but what’s your excuse for winning only 9 out of 23?!

I just want to know why he has Williams/Fred on Van Dijk for corners

Can't get his team to defend corners.

Can't get Pereira to stop shooting. Every time he gets into a good position he never plays in a team mate.

Just get rid of him now and give ourselves at least small chance of not completely going down the drain. We've been on a course for mediocrity for a long time now but I think between this guy and Woodward we're heading below that.

Bring on Mata for Andreas please, the latter is so poor.
Yep.

Greenwood for james
Mata for Andreas

Mata for his calmness in possession, he wint just hoof it like the rest and Greenwood so we have a natural finisher on the pitch I think we could grab a goal if these come on.

Of course he is. The same way Moyes did it. He goes in with a defeatist attitude just like Moyes. This is Manchester United and he should set the players up as Manchester United. I do not care what anyone says, the team he got from Jose was a much better team than we have now even with James and Maguire included.

Very worrying that he a) chose Andreas over the in-form Mata and b) has made up horrific at defending set pieces against absolutely everyone. 13 months he's had to fix that and I expect us to concede from every single corner.

Did we even go through this formation in training? No one has a breeze so far, only for Matic and Fred - Williams ok as well.

Making it extra easy for Liverpool - they don’t have to get out of 2nd gear.

I just don’t see what Ole was trying to accomplish here. Scouse have all the space they need, so we aren’t even organised to be that compact.

Of course it was, in every statistic. This team is less mercenary and younger though, that's all a large portion of our fans give a shit about.

Should be sacked just on injury management. Awful decisions.

Is it an "agenda" when people use injuries as an excuse for more than 1/2 season of poor play?

If it’s true that Rashford has been played with a fracture in his back then Ole needs firing on the spot along with all the medical staff.

Unfeckingbelievable.

We have an overpaid, under-talented squad full of young players that are inconsistent and until our board addresses this we will likely continue on this path whoever is the manager.

We could have made more progress if we hadn't continuously sacked managers but that is not Ole's fault he can only deal with the hand he has been dealt.

The progress is obvious to many of us and it is a shame that you don't see it. I hope that Ole takes us all the way back to the pinnacle of English and European football and right now I have no idea whether he will or not, that will take a couple of seasons to become apparent. If he doesn't then at least we will have a younger, hungrier squad with players bought in/home grown that have developed together.
People like you can keep repeating this "progress" lie but the point total speaks for itself - we are regressing. We have less points than at the same point last year - that is regression. That is a fact. That is not an opinion. The numbers are what they are.

The fact that we're so bad at football, because of Ole, meant we've had to risk Pogba and Rashford needlessly. Thats on Ole.

Excellent job by Ole today. Correct tactical set up. Decent pressing. Limited Liverpool. Have more possession than most anticipated. Issue is that we lack quality in final third today. Can her take risk and put Greenwood on which might lead to less defensively as pressing from front has been solid and together as a team?

 Typical start of 2nd half. I have no idea what Ole says to our players during HT but feck me, he would better say nothing.
