There’s no denying that had Solskjaer not fluked those two wins in a week against City and Spurs, and added to the results since then, he’d be out the door this morning. Those two results have clouded the board’s judgement and they’re willing to give him time based on that.

Absolutely ridiculous.

We have the 5th or 6th best side in the league, without injuries. He has us in 5th, with injuries.

Last year under Jose we had a team who genuinely didn't care. This team does. We had a team that didn't work remotely hard. This team does.

He has bedded in young players brilliantly. Williams and Greenwood have proven their worth and rightfully have been given a huge amount of minutes in the first team. Garner was given a chance, not quite ready. Chong was given opportunities, not good enough, on the way out. Tuanzebe was on course to displace Lindelof with fantastic performances before his injury.

We had an unfit and not arsed Lukaku, now we have a generational talent in Greenwood being brought through perfectly.

We had an unfit Shaw, he has brought through Williams and we're much better for it.

He has gotten significantly improved performances out of Fred. He changed McTominay's role and made him a much better performer as a result. McTominay displaced Matic who looked to have no legs, and after being forced to bring Matic back in, Matic looks fairly rejuvenated.

He brought in a top right back and got rid of Young, I think people forget how utterly miserable we were with that situation just over a year ago. How can people not see the rebuild in front of their eyes?

He can't break the low block down with a midfield of Fred, Matic and Pereira. Of course he fecking can't. I'll become a much harsher critic when he gets a creative midfielder in.

He might not be the man for the job, but there's absolutely a chance that he could be. We'll probably never know, because he'll be the fall guy before long for the parasites above him.
Again injuries as excuses. All teams have injuries, Chelsea who are above us had more key players missing games and their entire backline missing games, whilst Rudiger was sidelined for most of the games.

Tuanzebe has played the grand total of 180 mins so far into the season yet he was going to displace Lindelof? Garner played 8 minutes in PL. Chong was clear from preseason he isn't quality, yet gave him more chances than Gomes, who on the other hand looked far better. Greenwood yesterday on the bench at the expense of Pereira, who is his favorite, despite being our worst player in most of the games.

The unfit and not arsed Lukaku was our best scorer during his good run and who landed him the job, he discarded him without a replacement.

Shaw isn't much better than he was last year.

Fred last night was back to his old self, yet you are jumping on the gun after couple of good games. McT was introduced by Jose and looked good under him too, he's developing in the way young player is expected to develop.

The top right back that he brought cost ton of money and is questionable going forward which is one of the main weapons to undo teams like Burnley.

He gave contract to Pereira who is shite, yet according to him "improving". The same Fred that you praised 2 sentences above now you lambast him ?

He also spent 80m pounds on Maguire and didn't bring CM and CF in.

We are in a much worse state than we were before Jose left and someone has to fix his mess first before we see an improvement.

Anyone still backing Solskjaer needs help.

No, he's not the only problem - far from it. BUT, his lack of tactics awareness, in-game changes, seemingly zero analysis of previous games (what are our set pieces about? Throw ins are a joke and the last time we scored from a corner was...?!), his team selections and substitutions. All basic managerial decisions, all terrible.

0-2 down at home against Burnley and he brings on a heavily overweight Shaw and a completely ineffective Lingard.
Gomes needs to hand a transfer request in, he's clearly never gonna get a break.

Owners, CEO, board... All happy and rich.
Olé is the yes man buffer they needed - legend of a player - but naive manager in so many ways. Out of his depth is an understatement.

So you think just the manager is the problem?
You think he is not? We can do much better in every area. But we must fix that what we can fix. Owners will stay here. Ed should be replaced but he will stay here. So next is manager. Is he good enough? No. So lets replace him. It is literally impossible to find worse than him. So whoever comes is upgrade.

Lets not pretend that Ole is a victim of owners. He is backed more than any manager before him. And he is doing awful job. Logical thing to do is to replace him.

The manager is one of the biggest problems.

Considering you can't change the ownership of the club or the CEO, as it is again dependent on the ownership, then the manager is the biggest problem we can fix at this point.

This is going to make me sound like one of those anonymous body language experts, I've never seen Solskjaer looking so beaten though. I've been watching this man, in one way or another, since 1996. The fire in his eyes has turned from determination to anger and frustration. From what he says, from how he behaves, its clear he does not believe in this squad. To me it seems like he is just waiting to see if he will get a chance to improve our squad or be made the fall guy for the regime.

My biggest concern is that Ole gets sacked end of the year to deflect blame. Poch is hired to keep fans content for a while, and this circus continues and we ruin him as well. If that happens i doubt any decent manager would touch the club with a ten foot pole

You could argue Poch knows how its like to work under a d*ckhead CEO, but at least Levy is competent at his job ulike that witless worm Woodward. Two legendary award winning managers and one club legend, sacked and having their reputations tarnished within a few years. Honestly, does Poch even want to take us on? We're a "big club" sure, but we are looking more and more like AC Milan by the day

No wonder Klopp turned us down. He knew what a shambles we are

Are people really still blaming Ole? Why? Because it is the most easiest thing to do?

Unbelievable how someone can be so blind
Nah mate. I was always Ole out but our convincing displays against the scouse and mighty Burnley showed that it's all the board's fault. Nothing he could ever do. No way can Ole win against an injury rattled Burnley side with the squad he has at his hands...

Did I say he's not the problem. He's not the only not the biggest problem, that's what I'm saying.
Saying this is what we can fix so let's fix it sounds nice and easy. But bottom line is the club is in a complete disarray. And whoever succedes Ole will come into that.

People wanting Ole sacked aren't wrong in their views that he's not up to the job. But you do know that as soon as he goes and is replaced Woodward is off the hook yet again? Is that waht you want? Maybe we need to keep Ole against our better judgement for a bit longer so the pressure mounts on the club instead. Ole isn't good enough but with these owners and Woodward the rot will continue whoever is in charge in my opinion. Look what it did to LVG n Jose. And even Moyes to an extent.

Would likes of Poch n Allegri want to come here right now given the state of things? It would be incredibly tough job for a 55 yr old Fergie right now. The club is rotten.

This will always be the line until we sack him. They're not going to say 'yeah he's a dead man walking, we'll get rid when we find a replacement' are they?
Its also not easy to sell to the squad as the players really like him. The last time there was so much pressure, apparently there were senior players at Woodward's door to express their support.

I know what are you saying. And yes, Glazers are biggest oroblem. Ed is second. We can't change them. So lets solve our third problem and that is Ole. You fix what you can.

Sorry state of affairs. He should never have been given the full job before the season ended. As a caretaker manager fine, but the manager of Molde with no other managerial experience should not be getting the manger position here. Yet even if he's not the man for it if doesn't mean he's the real problem.
That is the major mistake they made, the board went against everything they said.

I agree with this. It is always the manager who carries the can, when in fact the source of most of our problems are the people running our club, who carry on regardless.

He should quit tonight with a bang, and whether true or not blame everything on Ed, feck me people would lap it up.

Just come out and say "we're fecked, Ed's shit, Judge is shit, cnuts keep promising me players if I agree to let our current ones go and then feck all happens, I'm left with this fecking man-child sat next to me on the bench telling me he'll change it if I bring him in, fecking idiot, I bring him on just so me and Mickey can have a laugh. Laterz!". He'd be a cult hero all over again.
I'm sure he'd get a big pay off with an NDA which prevents him from saying much

He is Ed Woodward's safety net. If he fire him serious questions will be raised about him and he will be under focus again, he does not want that. What a fecking coward Ed is!
Agreed. Sack Ole and the heats on Ed.

I actually think that with a fully fit squad and strong support in the transfer market, Ole would build something here. But neither look likely, and top 4 is still a very realistic goal. Regretfully it's time to sack and roll the dice on a new manager.

Ole isn't doing well, but this stems from the transfer decisions. It's a shambles we only have Shaw and Lingard to bring on when we're losing a game. Where the feck are the attackers in our squad - this is Manchester United.
It's tragic mate. Luke Shaw subbed on when chasing a game, and a guy without a goal or an assist in the league for a year. Fan-fecking-tastic.

He’s made mistakes after mistake after mistake and we still persist with him, it’s Manchester United for Gods sake the pinnacle of footballing excellence not some club for a novice manager to sharpen his teeth on.
Crazy if this guy is still in a job by the next match. I mean Barcelona just got rid of Valverde and he won the league last year, they’d never stand for this could you imagine if someone put Messi in with a broken back he would be fearing for his life no just his job.
I keep seeing this comparison to Barcelona but it doesn't make sense. We are in a completely different situation at the moment.

This really is my biggest fear. As far as Klopp turning us down, I don't think he knew our state of affairs. Wasn't he offered the Bayern job at one point but turned that down too. I think it is more of a personal preference tbh.

Interesting points. But keeping the manager in hope that his shit performances will get Ed Woodward sacked seems a bold statement

When will people realize that Ole is Woodward's mouthpiece and he's fully behind the regime otherwise he would've been sacked long ago.

Woodward and the Glazers have been under pressure since 15 years the latter and 5-6 the former, what did that bring?

Are the fans so deluded to think that keeping an inept manager who will always do and follow what the CEO says, will somehow help changing the aforementioned CEO. :houllier:

This is not a only a deluded point of view but pure idiocy.

We've won less games than Burnley since he took over. We're 30 points off top, 17 points off second, 14 points off 3rd, and only 11 points off relegation. We've the third fewest amount of clean sheets despite spending £130m on our defense. We've won 9 games in 24.

Whatever about injuries and our depleted squad, not one player in that Burnley team last night would get into our 11.

You are fecking nuts if you still think he's the right man for any kind of rebuild here. All we've done under him so far is become the laughing stock of the league.

What exactly do you think he's going to rebuild here? He's made the squad worse, he's made poor signings, he's made most of our players perform worse, he's made our best player want to leave, we play worse football, we concede more goals, we score less goals, we get less points, we lose more games. What sort of a rebuild is that?
I realise that this is a futile day for me or anybody else to have an Ole argument, so I won't even bother trying.

I must be fecking nuts, because I still want him in charge of the club. What we are seeing now is the result of years of mismanagement at boardroom level, and that is where any frustration should be directed towards. We were right to let all those players go in the summer. We are correct in changing our transfer strategy. You can't undo that long period of mismanagement in 12 months. Its just not possible.

Fekin Saudis. There are other potential owners other than that mob.
