good job it’s not called the Premier League FA cup isn’t it. Dates have been set since the start of the season, if it was this big of a problem, he’d have started a better team.
Klopp and his players fecked up and rather than take it on the chin, it’s easier to whinge about the fixtures
do you think the scheduling at a national, continental and international level is good? Klopp has brought this up many times before so it’s not just because of this occasion. Read the link I posted - the PL told clubs not to schedule friendlies or competitive rearranged fixtures during the break. Klopp is only highlighting a problem. People need to stop shooting the messenger - what he says makes total sense.

What did he say?

He could have started with a couple of the stronger players. The PL is done after all
Just that's it's unfair as his team now have to play in the winter break which was scheduled by the PL. Said he won't be managing the side as he needs a break himself. He's a whopper.

Genuinely, I don’t have any issues with the scheduling, bar a couple of questionable TV moves, 6 games over Christmas and i absolutely love it, I love the fact there’s a game every 2-3 days.
Apart from that, it’s pretty much every weekend and a couple of midweek domestic fixtures.

Yeah I think it is pretty good. Over christmas a bit overkill though. I think one day between days is too little.
2 games per week is fine. Liverpool have less than that recently since they are not in the league cup.

Just because The Dippers are having a brilliant season and have a big schedhule doesn't mean Klopp whining is acceptable. We had to go through hard 180 minutes against Wolves and still have FA cup and EL obligations. He should stop acting like the planet circles around him

Klopp does make sense, however the fact remains that had he picked a slightly stronger lineup against Shrewsbury then there's a greater chance Liverpool wouldn't be in this position.
It was obvious before hand when potential replays were scheduled for, Klopp dropped a clanger and is trying to blame it on others.

As a fan, I don't like the decision as I want to win the fa cup.

As a point of principle, I wholly agree with his stance. He and many others have spoken about this for years and been ignored. It's sad that doing this is probably the only way the FA will start taking notice. This is a blow to the relevance of their competition.

People saying "he should just have won it to avoid this" are missing the point. I'm sure he wanted to win it, he looked pissed off with his team last night. But it's not just about wanting to avoid this situation for Liverpool, but raising the issue and establishing a precedent going forwards. He's hurting himself more than anyone with this by possibly going out of a competition he has a great chance of winning. It's about the number of games for players and standing up for a proper winter break, as he has argued for since he came here. It's pathetic that the fa haven't coordinated with the premier league on this.

I read on Goal that united were close to withdrawing from the FA cup in 99? First I've heard of it.

Cheers all the top 6/7 still in for now at least. Reckon we'll get Chelsea in the draw

Yeah look very hard to win it. Miss the days of LVG with easy draws all the time. Although at least now we manage to beat league 1 sides unlike those days.

Should be easy for Arsenal. Terrible side from Bournemouth. Although it was 1-1 last time in the league.
Without Aubameyang they might struggle up front.

Although no Özil is probably good for them.

Do people still rate Eddie Howe? People used to say his team play good brand of football, have rarely seen them do that. In fact other teams just come and dominate them.
